We headin’ to the dive bar we always thought was nice

Everyone that lives in this house is still here, we haven’t been raptured. So that’s a good thing. I watched the solar eclipse at work yesterday. It was pretty neat, if you ask me. And it killed a couple of minutes during a dead time. I took a few pictures of it. But like concert videos, I’ll probably never look at them again.

Up again at 4:30. It was a little easier today, but still a chore to roll out of bed and start the day. Chaucer got up with me. Pippin was asleep on the couch, but got up shortly after I started to turn the lights on.

It’s starting to get warmer outside. While the sun was out it was great. I didn’t have to wear a jacket or toque to go outside, but as the morning turned to afternoon, the clouds crept in. Thus, it started to cool off again. That’s one of the reasons that spring isn’t my favorite season; you never know how to dress.

And just think, I get to do it all over again tomorrow.

And, I can’t even nap. My mom is supposed to be around sometime this afternoon to pick up some mail, that I offered to walk up to her. Other than that, I think we’re pretty much all caught up.

You say you need a little of my ooh-la-la

Oh Rexy, you’re so sexy!

Welcome to Rex Manning Day 2024!

4:30 am sure came early this morning, but I got up and started the day. With the day started, and coffee consumed, I went off to work.

Work was a little busier than normal. Probably because we were closed yesterday. But we managed to get a lot done, cleaning wise.

Course I’m tired from the weekend, so I don’t have a lot to report on today. So I’ll just leave it at this.

Happy Rex Manning Day!

Oh yeah, also there was an eclipse today. Pictures tomorrow.

(Always leave em wanting more!)

Knocking me out with those American thighs

Good Sunday morning, my friends. It’s a bright, warmish day out in the real world. The coffee has been brewed, and is being consumed as I type this. So far, no cats are around us, but I’m sure that will change in a few moments.

Again, I slept like the dead. I slept on my left side most of the night, so my shoulder is hurting this morning. That’s ok, it’ll start to feel better as I prep for laundry day in a little while.

It’s that point in the spring time weather, that it’s slightly chilly at night, but warm in the morning. I may have to take a blanket off the bed, but I’ll talk to the executive, and see what we can do.

Chaucer just jumped up on the pirate chest. He’s looking for a lap to relax on. Mine. But I just want to get this post out, and go to the bathroom. At least, I want to finish a sentence before going.

Nothing much planned for today. Just the usual; chores, brunch, and Shady Acres for dinner. Nothing major, as the work week is just about to start. Happy Sunday y’all!

Don’t be a bitch, come take it to the floor now, woo, huh (woo)

The alarm went off at 4:30. I got up, and went to the bathroom. As I sat, I realized that I didn’t have my pile of clothes ready to get dressed. Then I remembered that it’s now Saturday, and I didn’t have to be up at 4:30, so I went back to sleep. Thankfully, Crystal didn’t hear the alarm go off. At one point before it was actually time to get up, I went to find Crystal so I could snuggle her.

I’m pretty sure that I was pretty much on the edge of the bed. So it felt like she was miles away from me. I made the trek across the bed to snuggle a little bit. The journey was difficult. But after days of travel, I finally made it to her side. I believe that she was cold, and it’s my mission to keep her as warm as possible. So that’s what I did, until I woke up.

Pippin started to cry right away for the table. So she got the table at the back door, where the sun is coming up. She’ll be there for about an hour or so. Maybe more. Chaucer is happy about that, because he’s very snuggled on my lap.

Nothing much planned for today. It’s Saturday, so we’ll be heading out to SlightlyBiggerTown for groceries, and probably some weed. I did grab some of the staples last night. I also got gas. So the staples purchase was a little more expensive. I had to get some gas, as we had about 20 miles to empty. And the fuel was going up. It went from $1.489 to $1.529. So it was a purchase. Lol

So that’s the day. But before all of that, it’s coffee time. Poor Chaucer will have to get up in a second.

Happy Saturday!

Who knows how to play with the gods

TGI motherfucking F.

Finally, Friyay has graced us with her presence. And finally work is over for the week. It’s been a long week today. But we made it through the whole week. For me, there was only one schedule change.

The alarm scared the shit out of me this morning. 4:30 came wicked early. But I got out of bed, and started the day. It’s nice to look out the kitchen window, and to see the sun slowly starting to rise.

As I left, I remembered that I forgot about getting his dog buns, but that wasn’t really my fault, as the bread delivery hadn’t arrived. So I stopped at the small grocery store. From there I hit up the post office, and then delivered mail to Shady Acres, as my dad had a parcel.

Home now. I unloaded what groceries I could buy at work, I can get a few items on discount at work – the majority of the groceries will be purchased tomorrow when we go to SlightlyBiggerTown.

I’m gonna play a video game for a little while. I may or may not need a nap. I’m sleepy AF. Deadass. No Cap.
