Good morning my snowy friends. It’s still snowing here, not as hard or as blowy as yesterday. I quickly shoved the stoop, and looked out, and realized that I’ll have to dig my way to the road to get to work today.
Fun times.
It was coming down wicked hard yesterday. The visibility here was pretty close to zero as I could see past city hall as I looked out the windows at work.
But I’m gonna enjoy this coffee and wake up a little. Happy Thursday y’all!
The above is how I’m going to look when I go into work. Wide awake at 6:20. I go out and look at the clock, and go back to try and sleep until my alarm goes off. I get comfy and fall back asleep. Something in a dreams startled me, and I wake up again. Thinking it’s close to when my alarm will be going off, I get up and look. I slept for an extra 9 minutes. Screw it, I say to myself. I get up, brush my teeth and turn in the shower.
Thankfully I didn’t pack up my heavy sweaters. I get dressed, and bundle up to go outside to shovel again. The snow is light in some spots, and deep in others. It’s been snowing and blowing for 24 hours now. I don’t think that it’ll never stop, and I now live on Hoth.
I wonder if everyone will actually make it into work today. Or if I’ll be the only one. We’ll find out in a couple of hours!
