Wake up (wake up) grab a brush and put a little make-up

Good morning. Podrick was trying his best to get us to wake up and play with him. The Beautiful One was up at 3 to pick up shit that he was playing with in the bathroom. Then again at 6:50 is when I rolled out of bed. I’m sure he knocked the same shit down.

We’re up now.

It’s still dark out.

But with the town-wide power outage, we’ll be doing our shopping tomorrow. So today, we’ll be doing the stuff that I would usually do on Sundays. So today is chore day. But I’ll start that once it’s day light out.

Work was mostly pretty quiet last night. A lot better than the night before. You see, there was a hockey game last night that started about 45 minutes before we closed. We anticipated that we’d be busier in the hour before the game, but we were mostly wrong. Totes quiet.

It was a nice Friday night.

There’s a WWE event tonight, so later on this morning, I’ll find something in the freezer to make for dinner. I think there’s a couple of burgers in there. Whatever we have, it’ll be yummy.

But before human form; coffee.

If you drink, don’t drive do the watermelon crawl

Up just a little early this morning. Podrick was being Podrick, so I kicked him out of the bedroom, and blocked the door. Crystal says he’s getting close to opening the door. My body said “you need to pre, and you really need to blow your nose.” I ignored my body and for a couple minutes I wiped my nose on the back of my hand. I fell back asleep.

And Podrick let me sleep for another hour or so.

I finally woke up to him pulling at the door, or he fell against it. I don’t really know, but when I fell out of bed, and opened the door. He was all purrs and snuggles. I got dressed and did my morning things. He was begging to bed fed, so I fed him, and Pippin got fed in the bedroom.

Work was nasty last night. It was just one long rush. And not the good rush that time flew by. No, it was the kind of rush that as soon as you took off your coat, you had to put it back on, and get back outside. But time did pass slowly, and actually the last couple of hours went pretty quickly. So that was great.

All that separates me is one last shift. That shift is tonight, and guess what? We’re gonna kick some ass, and before I know it, we’ll be heading home.

Weekend!

Love to eat turkey ’cause it’s good love to eat turkey like a good boy should ’cause it’s turkey to eat so good

Good Thursday morning. The kittens let us sleep the fuck in this morning. By the time Podrick was making enough noise with the door, it was 7:30ish, and time to get out of bed. I was very surprised. So we’re up, coffee has been brewed, and the kittens have been fed.

I was very surprised to get up so late.

The snow is still on the ground. I don’t think it’s going to be leaving for months. I’m like, so totally, not impressed. One of my coworkers was complaining that he was cold. He turned up the heat, and still complained that he was cold. I had to point out that he was only wearing a tshirt. A few months earlier, he was complaining that it was too hot. I had to tell him that he was wearing layers, not that he’s not, he’s cold.

He agreed.

Usually when I have the weekend off, and it’s payday, we’ll go grocery shopping in SlightlyBiggerTown. From what my mom tells me, there’s going to be a planned power outage on Sunday from 12-5. So we changed our plans, and we’ll head to SlightlyBiggerTown Sunday to do what we need to do.

It’s not going to get warmer here soon.

If you wanna see heaven, brother, here’s you chance

Up a little early Tim his morning. Podrick was quietly being Podrick. I think I could’ve ignored him, and went back to sleep, but I couldn’t breathe through my nose this morning, and the bed was warm. I ignored him as long as I could, then just got up.

Podrick was very happy to see me, and weaved in and out of my feet. It’s really nice if you don’t have to walk anywhere, but he’s really good at weaving while you’re walking! He leaned against me, (and he’s wicked heavy when he does) while I was making his breakfast.

The snow stayed. Because, of course. It’s too cold for it to melt now. We’re stuck with it now until, probably, April now. Yay snow!

Work wasn’t too bad. We had three people on last night, but we managed to deal with two trucks. They were both put away smoothly, and quickly. It was a pretty easy night.

I have to finish watching the last, probably 10-15 minutes of NXT from last night. Working Monday through Friday, I don’t get to see RAW, NXT, or Smackdown live, so I watch it when I get home. Most of the time, I finish it the next morning. that’s what I have to do today. Sadly I didn’t get to see Brock Lesnar fall live. But it’s glorious.

Said, “If you’re gonna play the game, boy you gotta learn to play it right

Morning all. We’ve been given a dusting of snow through the night. Yay snow. I think both kittens were being, well, kittens this morning. I first woke up around 5, with Podrick trying to play with the cables to my alarm clock. Only a couple of times, before I chased him out of the room. Probably minutes later, I just had to pee.

So up again. This time I’m more awake. I think I managed to fall back into a light sleep. But I could hear banging. It was Pippin rubbing on the bricks. Not really loud banging, but just enough to make a sound over my fan, and give me slight anxiety. I found my other sleep mask and turned on another sleepy time talk down. While the voice was annoying, I think it worked. as anxious as I was I think I fell into a really night sleep. I managed to sleep until around 7:30.

Work was pretty slow last night. We went from around 5:30 til about 8, without having a many customers. We cleaned and got a few things done. Finally, it was time to pack it in for the night. My coworker likes to get everything buttoned up before we’ve closed. Of course, if someone comes in, he has to redo some of the paperwork. That’s what happened last night. With 3 minutes to go, someone came in, and paid with cash. That meant that he had to redo the cash paperwork, and the deposit.

As he was redoing the deposit paperwork, and bitching about how the last customer just had to pay with cash, I looked at him and said, “you know you’re doing this to yourself, right?” He thought his luck could continue like it has for the last couple of weeks. I told him I used to do the same thing (counting the cash, and getting the deposit ready before we closed.) But it wasn’t worth the stress, and the extra time if someone came in. So I do it like the other coworker now, and closings, for me, have been so much better.

Back to work this afternoon. There’s three of us in tonight, because of trucks. BossLady has seen the schedules via the works group chat. She doesn’t like them, but the guy that’s making the schedules while she’s on time off, countered with, “it one, maybe two shifts a week, and it really helps when there’s multiple trucks in the evening”. One person can concentrate on the truck, while the other two run the store.

I’ve rambled on far too long with only a couple sips of coffee. Happy Tuesday. Let’s kick today in the ball sack.
