Ugh, good morning. It’s bright and sunny out beyond the walls of The Flat. I slept like the dead last night. I think I rolled over just once. So I’m a little stiff this morning. the alarm scared me when it went off. I must have been in a deep sleep. But I’m awake, and here I am. Chaucer has already claimed my lap, and Pippin is in a sunbeam on the table at the back door.

Typical Saturday.

I have a short shift at work today. Hopefully it’ll go quickly, and I’ll be back home before I know it. It’s shouldn’t be too bad today. Of course it’s a holiday here. Non-paid one, but still a holiday. It’s the National day for Truth and Reconciliation today. I don’t have an orange shirt, but that’s ok.

A new Wes Anderson movie dropped on Netflix a couple of days ago. Maybe this evening we’ll watch it. We’re fans of Wes here. We’ve seen a couple of the bigger movies, and have liked them. We really enjoyed the Fantastic Mr. Fox. So maybe we’ll watch this one and enjoy it as well.

So yeah. That’s about it. Date night went good! We had an amazing dinner. Crystal got her usual, and I asked the cook if it was too busy to order breakfast for dinner. It was not so I had bacon and sausages and eggs and all the fixings. It was really good.

But today is a new day. Bright and sunny. Let’s all have a good day today. After more coffee of course!

Ow. I slept way wrong last night and I hurt this morning. I’m sure it’ll go away as I start moving today. But for right now it hurts. I don’t think I moved too much in the night. I was mentally exhausted. It was a long day at work, yet the day seemed to move mostly quickly.

It looks like it rained a little before we woke up this morning. I think it’s supposed to be a rainy day for most of the day today. It’s fall, and we’re getting all the rain that we should’ve got in the spring.

After a long day, I struggled to find something mindless to enjoy. I tried Dark, but I was having trouble concentrating on it. Finally, I found a tried and true movie – Hackers. While the technology doesn’t really hold up, it’s still a great movie.

Back to work with the whole office today. That should be interesting. I have a feeling a lot will be started, and not a lot will be completed. Thems the breaks. We’ll get through the day.

But before all that can happen: coffee.

Awake. I can’t remember if I got up in the night. I don’t think I did, but you never know. Course, I probably did. It’s a bright and sunny day out there so far, and I can hear the garbage truck toodling around. The coffee has been brewed, and like I said a little earlier, it’s a very nice fall day so far. I’ll have to look at the weather app in a little bit.

Lemme tell you, yesterday was a nice relaxing day. We took turns playing some Skyrim, and TotK. We just lazed around not really doing too much of anything. We had brunch, which was very good, and for dinner, Crystal was very excited about having some leftover pizza, while I had some chicken wings.

Back to work again this morning. I don’t want to dwell on that, just dwelling on thought that I’ll just be there until noon. Shouldn’t be too bad of a day. Then we can go to the second hand store, and slightly extend the weekend.

But I need to do a couple of morning chores, happy Tuesday my friends. Let’s kick some ass
