You see that shampoo bottle

Shawshank, September 21, 2023

There was a cat rave somewhere in the bedroom around 6:30 or so this morning. I flew out of bed, but with the light and lack of my glasses, I couldn’t find anything. Crystal, sleepily asked me to turn the coffee on. I declined, and snuggled back into bed, hoping to fall back asleep for a little bit.

I think I did, albeit, just a light sleep.

The coffee has finished brewing, and as an apology, I have the big man himself curled up on my legs. He’s a good guy. Pippin is on the table at the back door, pretty much doing her neighbourhood watch impression.

It’s somewhat gray, but also a little bright outside. It was supposed to be fully cloudy all day yesterday, but it was mostly sunny. So hopefully we’ll keep getting the sun. The leaves are changing rapidly. And Saturday is the first day of autumn. Winter is coming.

Welp, I need to refill my coffee mug. We’re getting closer to the weekend. I can’t wait!

Get out from that kitchen, and rattle those pots and pans

June 21, 2022

Good morning everyone. I trust all of my 2 or 3 readers had a great sleep. I had a pretty good one. I fell asleep to the sounds of nature. Namely thunder and lightning. It was loud enough to be heard over the fans in the flat. It’s a gray…
