Your mother warned you there’d be days like these

Good morning all you summer children. It’s dark and pretty warmish out there. And the weather has changed again. It’s supposed to be snowing all day. But that’s changed and only a 50% chance of snow tomorrow.

We’ll see. It’ll probably change in a few hours.

Worked yesterday. I did some inventory stuff when I first got in. Then I received some calls, with people saying that they’d come in. The person that I would’ve preferred to come in and spend money didn’t show up. The crazy person that bought product 2 years ago, came to pick it up.

But mostly it was dead. Other than the two that called, no one else did. And no one came in to the showroom.

After that, I went up to Shady Acres. Mom texted and asked if I’d get some gas for their snowblower. After that, I grabbed Crystal and we drove to SlightlyBiggerTown for grocery and weed shopping.

One the way back we stopped once for her to spin “in a desolate place”. She spun in the middle of the road, and looked amazing as she did that.

Made it home, and then snuggled on the couch and watched movies.

Today is dinner at Shady Acres. But up on deck, is chore day. I’ll be starting that soon.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Quick build Sunday

Just a quick build today. It was still a little challenging. I think I was all thumbs today. But I still had fun building it. I only uttered “for fucks sake” only 3 or 4 times.

It’s actually been named as well. Not by me, but from the guys at Tabletop Tactics.

I present to you – Eddie the Eversor.

Home Video – Schitt’s Creek

Who has two thumbs and just ugly cried through the last episode of the last season of Schitts Creek?

Me.

Then I made the mistake of watching the retrospective after show.

What an great show. It took a little while for me to get into it, then it seemed to just fly by. In my defense, I was not mentally prepared for the final episode. I though there was one more season.

So yeah. Now I have to find another no think show. Hopefully I won’t get too attached to it.

Well I’m a gonna raise a fuss, I’m gonna raise a holler

The featured image may or may not be the one that I used yesterday. Oops. Here I am. I was up early, but I forced myself to go back to sleep, until my alarm went off.

Yes, on my day off my alarm was still set.

I don’t know how to shut it off.

Analog clock Radios, amirite?

The coffee is brewing, and I have chores to do today. Laundry, put away some dishes, dusting, and I should clean the bathroom today as well. That should take a total of about 15-30 minutes. But I’ll get it done. My dad may or may not be coming over to help hang some art. We’ll see about that. I haven’t received any confirmation about that.

Other than chores, it’ll be a nice day off. Gonna watch some movies, then head over to Shady Acres for dinner later on in the afternoon.

Ok, coffee time. Let’s do this!

Home video – Bridgerton

I watched the first episode of Bridgerton a few weeks back, and when I was finished I told Crystal about it on our nightly video call. we both then kind of blew through it.

I’ve always really liked shows set in and around this time. I fell in love with Downton Abbey, and this was just the same. I’d finish an episode and immediately wish that I could watch another one.

However, with Netflix, they always leave you wanting more. 8 episodes in season 1. As you can see they’ve officially announced a second season that will start filming spring 2021. With COVID, who know when we’ll actually see the second season, and that makes me sad.

I think I like shows like Downton, and Bridgerton, because it’s so immersive, it feels like I can just disappear into them for a while. The back stories, the costumes, the story lines, I love them all.

So let’s hope that the second season appears soon, I want to disappear into it again.
