Giving ’em eargasms with my mellow accent

Chaucer is standing on me. He’s really trying to find a comfy spot. And, he’s snuggled in. Good morning, my friends. It’s Sunday morning, and it’s bright and sunny out there in the real world. Inside, it’s not too bad. The bed, at least for me, was just the bees knees. I think I might have gotten up sometime in the night, but I’m not too sure if I did.

I slept through the night, and I’m sure that Crystal has been up for at least an hour. I wish we knew what to do so she’d sleep in. We tried going to bed about 40 minutes later than normal, but again, like last time we tried that, didn’t work. When I woke up, both kittens were on the bed. Chaucer, already moving around, because the humans are awake, that means food is coming in minutes. Pippin, on the other hand, still snuggled in.

When I got home from work, Crystal was live streaming her playing Skyrim. Not a big crowd in there. I joked that it’s because she was playing an older game that most people aren’t interested in anymore. I said I could get more people if I played TotK. Long story short, I think at the most I had 4 or 5 people in there. No one other than Crystal and myself saw me finally stand up to the Gloom Hands, and gloomy Ganon.

No one other than Crystal and myself saw me do a round two with the Gloom Hands, and gloomy Ganon. I saved the great Deku Tree, and saved all the Koroks. After the fact, the Gloom Hands are really easy to defeat. I think it just took 5 or 6 bomb flowers, and poof, they’re gone. Don’t even get me started on gloomy Ganon. She was actually pretty easy, as long as you have either the Master sword, or some weapon with a high damage output.

That in a nutshell, was the day. We had an amazing dinner of chicken chunks, and scalloped potatoes. We also made some slow roasted chicken breasts for shredded chicken. I had a couple of pieces, and lemme tell you, Crystal sure knows how to roast some breasts. They were spiced perfectly. They were shredded, and put in the freezer.

Chore day coming up in an hour or so. Or whenever my caveman brain says it’s time to start. So yeah, typical Sunday morning. Although, I woke up thinking that it was Monday. I was excited for bacon, but alas, earwax, it’s Sunday. But I’m happier that it’s Sunday. If it was Monday, I’d be going to work tomorrow. And no one wants that.

Viva la coffee!

With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin’ kinda older

Good morning my friends. When the alarm went off this morning, I didn’t want to get out of bed. For me, the bed was just the perfect temperature. But I dragged myself out of bed, because the kittens needed to be fed, and the coffee needed to be brewed.

After work yesterday, we hopped in the Hot Mess Express and popped over to SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries. We found just about everything on the list. We forgot a couple of things that weren’t on the list, but it’s livable without those items.

Nothing out of the ordinary while we were there. The store wasn’t too busy which is always nice. I think we were in and out in about a half hour or 45 minutes. Not too bad if you ask me. After we loaded the HME, we popped over to Dairy Queen for a quick bite to eat, as we were both starting to get really peckish.

And of course, when we got home, we put all the groceries away. Then Crystal fired up the Switch. She had come up with a plan. I think it was a double cross, or a triple cross. I don’t know, but it work. She successfully played both sides for a quest in Skyrim. I was totally amused and impressed that she managed to pull it off. I didn’t even think you could do that!

After she played, I got a turn. I fired up TotK. I think I figured out why I’m not too fond of Skyrim (which I’m really trying to like), there’s too much involved on the back end of the game. So much crafting, alchemy, and all that. Then there’s all the options every time you level up. I know, I know, if I want to play other RPGs that I claim to really like, I’ll have to get used to and figure out which builds I want. in Skyrim, you can build your character to be anything you want. Any build. Wield any weapon. That’s a lot of options!!

Course, all I see on my Google Discovery is all about Starfield. I know it’s done by the same people that made Skyrim. It’s not even available on the switch, and probably never will, lol but I would like to try it. But I digress.

So anyways, I fired up TotK. I didn’t have a plan, but I explored a little bit of the Depths. I found some more light roots, and a couple of new clothes, but I didn’t actually achieve too much. But like Skyrim, this is TotKs bread and butter. I’m closer to the end game than the beginning, so I can just wander around and do quests things, or in the case of yesterday, just exploring.

Happy Sunday y’all!

Morning. It’s been a long morning so far. I’ve been up, on and off, since about 3:40. First it was just to get up and pee, then I had a slight stomachache, then I was just trying to get comfortable. Suddenly, I hear something falling and spilling. I fly out of bed. I think it’s around 5ish at this point. I can’t find anything, and suspiciously, the cats are no where to be found. I thinking Chaucer was asleep on the bed, and when Pippin jumped down off the shelf in the bathroom, the allergy pills took a tumble. I think I got most of them.

I climbed back in bed, got comfortable. That’s when the nightmares started. I remember them, mostly. I couldn’t recognize where we were, but we were there, with other people that I didn’t know. And in that crowd that’s when I found out Crystal was leaving. And had already divided all the stuff, and was leaving.

Good times.

Luckily, that’s not the case and when I woke up, she was still next to me, sleeping. And all the kittens were snuggled up on the bed, which also explains why I could pull the blanket up this morning. I couldn’t figure it out at the time.

So yeah, we’re awake. We have coffee, and the kittens have been fed. Chaucer is snuggled up in between us, and Pippin is looking out the back door. Chores will be started in a little while. I don’t know if we’ll be picking apples this afternoon, but I do know I’ll be taking up my position at the bbq to this afternoon and cooking steaks.

I think I need more coffee.

This is how I show my love I made it in my mind because blame it on my ADD, baby

Oh well, yep, there’s the alarm. I made it until the alarm just about went off, and then I fell asleep again. Til the alarm went off. It’s a bright and sunny day out there, and looks to be a beautiful day.

Yesterday was a really nice day, just a hiccup. We were on our way to SlightlyBiggerTown, only about a lm from the house when the check The gone light came on. I immediately turned around and parked the car. I texted mom and asked if we could use her truck, she said yes, so I walked up to the house and grabbed it. Shortly after that, we were on our way.

Other than that little bit of excitement, it was a pretty standard trip for groceries. We didn’t have to go crazy. But we actually had a list. Impressive huh? We got just about everything we needed, and a couple bonus items.

We ended up getting Subway for lunch. You know Subway has gotten loads better than it was even 3 or 4 years ago. Whatever they’ve done, it doesn’t feel like you’re being punished for eating there anymore. The food isn’t as depressing as it used to be.

Not too much on tap for today. The usual chores, which’ll be started a little later. When I dropped of the truck, mom said we’d be picking apples today. I guess the apple tree is ready to give us what it’s got.

But before all that, coffee. Coffee, and cold meds. Happy Sunday y’all!

I think it’s time for you to take me out this club and we don’t need to use our words

We’re up. It’s early. I’ve been up on and off since about 5:30. I’m sure that Crystal had been up for an hour or so before that. So yeah. It’s early. We’re awake. That’s not a good thing. Either way, it is what it is.

So yeah, not the best way to start a Sunday. But we have to work with what we have, so here we are. Welcome to Sunday! It’s a gray and cool day so far here north of the wall. It’s chore day here. So we have that to do a little later on.

We had movie night here last night. Renfield popped up on Amazon Prime a couple of days ago, so I suggested movie night. Lemme tell you, it was a pretty good movie. Lots of laughs and totally fake gore. Just the movie that we needed.

Nothing too much going on here today. It’s chore day, and dinner at Shady Acres this afternoon. Nothing too major. I’ll probably start chores in an hour or so. I haven’t decided yet.

But before everything, coffee. Happy Sunday y’all!
