Hang my head drown my fear till you all just disappear

Good morning, my friends. It’s hazy, hot, and humid. We slept in a little bit. Well, I slept in a little bit. It’ll be the last time for a week, cause I have opening shifts all next week. So the next time the alarm goes off, it’ll be at 4:30 in the morning. So I treated myself, and shut off the alarm for the weekend.

We didn’t do a whole lot yesterday. Looked at an “everything must go sale”. I played with a cat with a stumpy tail. There wasn’t anything that really jumped out at us. From there, just stopped at the tiny grocery for supplies for lunch, and then it was back home.

We just watched some tv and I actually played some video games. No Man’s Sky got an update – but it hasn’t filtered down to the Switch yet, so I fired up Tears of the Kingdom, where I went cave diving for a couple of hours, and then passed the controller to Crystal, so she could play for a little while.

We had a glorious bacon cheeseburger and fries for dinner. We just relaxed and were warm. We went to bed warm as well. Sometime in the night, I got up and used the bathroom. I took off my shirt and climbed under the top blanket, and went back to sleep.

Chaucer cosplayed as a DJ, and I got up and moved him from the floor beside the bed out to the hallway so he could perform the drop, and I was out again.

Now here we are; under an air advisory. It’s chore day. I’ll start in a few. Least the living room fan is drawing in some cool air right now. Happy Sunday y’all!

It’s a given LA law, someone’s faster on the draw

I’m still trying to focus my eyes. I was dead asleep, then just awake. So the old eyes are having some trouble focussing. The kitties have been fed, and the back door is open for them to survey their king and queendoms.

I was out at a drop of a hat last night. At one point in the night, I felt a kitty climb up and snuggle behind my knees. Then my mind said to itself, don’t don’t don’t move, the cat will get up and never snuggle you again. So please, don’t move. Then I fell back to sleep.

But we’re up, and the sun is mostly shining. The basic plan today, is to do my chores quickly, I did the laundry yesterday, have brunch, and then head out to a farmers market for the rest of the morning. Should be a fun morning. Well just have to be a part of the crowd lol. Maybe we’ll see something that catches our eye.

I tell them it’s just your culture and everyone rolls their eyes

Good morning everyone. It’s bright ass, and sunny out there in the real world. Looks like just a slight breeze as well. It looks like it’ll be a nice day out there. Both kitties are sitting in the back door taking in the sun and watching all that they own. You see everywhere the sun can reach, they own that. They think at least lol.

Starting at 9am yesterday, I was at Shady Acres, working on the Hot Mess Express. Over the course 8/9 hours we replaced all the brake pads, and rotors, and I changed the oil. The weather was perfect for outside car repair. If my dad is half as sore as I am this morning. I feel terrible for him. He was supposed to instruct me on the repairs. I think he’s missed working on a car, I would take everything apart, and he would replace the parts, then I would put everything back together. Repeat 4 times.

Today, I’ll be working just a little slower on the chores. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this stiff and sore. But it’s a good stiff and sore. lol. Soon I’ll start up the ol chores, but right now, I’m just going to enjoy the coffee, and the closeness to Crystal ❤️

Viva la Weekend!

Yeah here’s a quarter, call someone who cares

Here’s basically how my day went yesterday: as I was leaving, a local pulled up and was patiently waiting. I pull up behind them, and tell them that we’ve closed at 6. Mind you, it’s 6:25.

Jesus Christ you guys”.

If you come back on Monday, you’re more than welcome to pick up an application!”.

Go fuck yourself”’

Perfection!

It actually wasn’t too bad of a day, after my nerves wore off. Since SaturdayGuy only works Saturdays, he’s not exactly register trained, so I was on the register all shift. Just over 150 people, and I greeted them all.

Today, I’ll just be popping over to Shady Acres to drop off mail, and that sort of thing. I have today to recharge the old battery, because it’s back to work tomorrow morning.

That’s about all that happened. All in all it was a pretty tame day. Busy at times, but the day went pretty quickly, if I’m being honest.

But today is just a day of chores and being restful. My head feels like it’s filled with that expanding foam. It feels like my eyes are gonna pop out the pressure is very high today.

Pass the coffee? Thanks, fam.

Blood in the streets in the town of New Haven

Good sunny morning. It’s breezy out there, but bright and sunny. There were big storms that came through here last night, or early this morning. The power surged, and that led to the northern lights light that I have in the bedroom to turn on, wake us up, and leave us totally confused.

The thunder and the booms woke us up, but after we knew what they were put us back to sleep just a quickly as they woke us up. It’s been a while since I’ve fallen asleep with the help of a storm. I don’t know if the storm was lighting up the room or if it was just the boom boom boom.

Either way, I passed right out.

The yard sale went pretty good I believe. Mom sold a lot of her stuff, and each item she sold had a story behind it. We did the yard sale for her so, I’m glad that she did very well. The stuff to haul back was a fraction of what I hauled down from their place.

We didn’t do too badly either. I sold some car wash tokens, and Crystal sold some of her genie pants. We sold other misc. items. It was a good couple of hours as well. We both got slightly burned from the sun, but it was worth it. We did good, and we were packed up probably before 1. I’m sure my mom slept like a rock last night.

Today is a pretty lazy day. I got chores to do, then we’re heading out to the restaurant, for Father’s Day. I think this is the first time that my dad will be going out for dinner since he got sick. The cook is very excited to see him.

Happy Sunday everyone. Happy Father’s Day out there to anyone that reads this.
