I don’t believe in God, but I believe that you’re my savior

Good morning. We’re awake, and I’m surrounded by kittens. Crystal is on the other side of Chaucer.

Oh, and it’s froggy out there again.

But to combat that, we have central heating and cats to keep us warm. And they’re doing a great job in keeping me warm, at least. The coffee is helping as well.

We didn’t do too much yesterday. I went up to shady acres, and to get a new dresser. I put it in my mom’s truck and drove it back to the Flat. From there, we drove to SlightlyBiggerTown for a couple of supplies.

After everything had been procured, we drove home, and are out Subway lunch. After lunch, I got red if the old dresser, and installed the new one in it home.

We didn’t do too much after that. It’s nice to be able to do nothing. It totally relaxed me, and I was ready to fall asleep by 8ish but managed to made it to bedtime.

Let’s kick the day in the nuts and get started!

‘Cause everybody knows that smoking ain’t allowed in school

The beautiful one let me sleep in a little bit. And I finally broke through her defences, and snuggled her just a little bit before throwing back the covers, and once again emerging into the cold cruel world.

Hello world!

The coffee has been brewed, and is currently being consumed. Chaucer is looking for a lap (mine) to lie in. I have my legs up, and he’s not too happy about that. I know for a fact, that if I straightened out my legs, he’d be laying on my lap.

Not too much on deck for today; laundry, and chores. After all that is done, I’ll have to find some wrapping paper and wrap my mom’s birthday gifts, and we’ll head over there around 3. So I should get my ass in gear.

I was smart last night, and took the bacon out of the freezer last night. Damn, I’m good.

I’m so sick from the drink, I need home for a rest

I’m awake.

The bed was so snuggly, I didn’t want to leave. But I had to. I got shit to do. But currently I have Chaucer holding me down. He’s snuggled right in.

I slept like the dead.

Today, we don’t have too much on our table. I have laundry to do. Brunch to cook, and later, I’ll be hauling 10 bags of wood pellets into Shady Acres.

I don’t really have too much else to say, so here’s a picture. Look at that for a little while, it’ll take some time for me to wake up. Happy Sunday my friends, pop over to Crystal’s page to ask her about a cake!

And all along I believed I would find you

Why is the news on, when it’s Sunday? It should be goddamn Dateline.

Wait. It’s Monday?

Well, shit.

Ok.

Good morning my friends, welcome to a nice and sunny Monday morning. It’s turkey day in Canada. Unfortunately, we won’t be having any turkey. My parents should just about be in CapitalCity. My dad has a bone scan in the big city.

So since it’s Monday, and I had to work yesterday. Today is now designated chore Monday. I’ll be starting all the fun chores a little later. After coffee. Nothing really happens before coffee (that’s sleep), or during coffee (that’s for Chaucer snuggles).

I think it’s almost time to fire up the SAGA. Yes. That SAGA. So, yeah. I’ll double check that they’re on Netflix. Fuck yeah!

You wanna guess the address of the party I’m at

I’m awake, I promise that I am.

I slept like the dead last night. I slept like the dead this morning as well. Minus about 39 seconds, when Pippin was trying to get into the bedroom closet. I threw a towel at her, got up and made sure everything was ok, then went back to sleep.

But here we are. Chaucer has taken up residence on my lap. He would stay there all day, and all night if he had a choice. He always looks so very comfortable every time we can see his sleeping face. Sometimes, if he’s really relaxed, he’ll simply face-plant, and sleep like that.

Too cute.

But today is chore day. I cannot rest on my laurels this fine morning. It looks like the wind has slowed down a heck of a lot. The wind gusts are down from 90-100kph, to about 30kph. So, that’s almost like a holiday from the dastardly wind.

But I’ll get up in a couple of minutes. I’ll need to refill my coffee, and at the same time, I’ll sort out the laundry.

Two opening shifts this week, and the rest are closing. At this point, I much prefer the closing shifts. Ahh well, it is what it is.
