It’s Friyay! We’ve made it! The celebration coffee is brewing happily away in the kitchen, and the kittens are stalking around. Pippin is in the window, and Chaucer is around somewhere.

So a typical morning at The Flat.

Yesterday NewNewGirl was in. But like Tuesday, and Wednesday, I’ll be alone today. That’s ok, I don’t mind working alone. It’s all good. Today is also my 2 year anniversary. Yay two years! Some days, it feels a lot longer.

And tonight is date night! My girl, a couple burgers, and about 5lbs of fries between us. It’ll be a good date night.

We started to watch 1899 last night. It’s from the creators of Dark. Let me tell you, the first episode is very good. I can’t give anything away, because I have no idea what’s going on yet!

But I’m gonna drink some coffee, and wake up. Happy Friyay!

Ooh you make my motor run, my motor run

Good morning party people! We made it! It’s finally Friyay! A big ol coffee cup salute to this glorious day. All that stands before me and the weekend is today, and the short shift tomorrow! It’s been a long ass week, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Slept okish. Up very briefly at 1, and maybe 3. And rolled over and saw that it was six, but it was so brief, I saw the time, and went right back to sleep. The bed temp was pretty close to 100% awesome.

I’m stiff and sore this morning. The last three days, all I’ve really done is move furniture. I’ll be moving more today. BossLady basically told a customer that they had agreed to buying something, and that we have it in writing. So she’ll be stopping by this morning to pay for and to pick up her merch. Sometimes it takes the boss to be calling these people. There’s only so much that we can do, as regular wage slaves.

Coffee. Coffee is good.

Good morning! Happy Friyay! The kitties let us sleep again, but I was still up around 3 briefly. Pippin made the rounds and snuggled with Crystal for a little while, and then climbed in between us and snuggled me as well. That’s the first time she’s come up into the bed to snuggle.

She’s a good little girl.

But it’s Friyay! It’s the end of the week. It’s supposed to be a sunny day for part of the day. It’s a little breezy out. I hope the wind slowly dies down for Crystal’s performance at the haunted hotel this evening.

We’re up, and the kitties have been fed, and coffee is currently being consumed. I have one shift standing between me and the weekend. We can make it!

Good morning, happy Friyay! That’s right it’s technically the weekend! Man, this week has flown by. It’s bright, and I think the wind has finally slowed down a little. According to the weather app, it’ll be mostly cloudy today. I’ll take it!

Coffee has been brewed, and is being consumed.

The kitties are awake, Pippin really wants to play this morning. She keeps running up to Chaucer, then running away. She’s too quick for him. By the time he turns to see her, she’s already running away. so he just jumps up on the couch, and thinks we’ll protect him.

Today, we’re heading out to SlughtlyBiggerTown to do some grocery shopping and some other resupply. And since it’s a week day, we’ll be able to go to the second hand store! I always go grocery shopping on a Saturday, and the second hand store isn’t open on the weekends. So that’ll be fun!

Good morning party people! It’s finally Friyay! All that stand between me and the weekend is just one shift at the shop. I can make it! I know it.

I slept pretty good last night. Just a little tossy turny. My neck is still toight like a toiger. I’m sure it’ll take a couple of days for it to settle down and act like a normal neck again.

Going grocery shopping tomorrow, so I’ll be popping into SlightlyBiggerTown for some supplies. That’ll be fun. It’s always nice to do something different from the norm. I have my list, so it should be a quick in and out.

But before all that can happen – coffee first.
