Nobody likes you when you’re twenty-three

Good morning, it’s Friyay! Welcome to the end of the week! Well, almost the end of the week. I have a short shift tomorrow, then it’s the weekend baby!

Last night when I went outside, I called for Crystal. Looking up in the sky, it just looked like fast moving thing clouds. It wasn’t. It was the northern lights. They were beautiful. Crystal will be able to word it correctly over on her site. It’s been like two decades since I’ve seen them last. I took some pictures and videos for Crystal.

We didn’t do too much after I got back from work. Crystal made a very tasty dinner of shramp taco bowls. So very good. There’s enough for lunch today.

I slept like the dead last night. I crashed. I was up a little early, but only for a couple of seconds before I fell back asleep until the alarm went off.

So now we’re up, and slowly drinking the nectar of life. Hopefully today will go quickly. Happy Friyay!!!

I got a jones for your affection like a monkey on my back

Good morning mes amis. We’ve made it to Friyay! Just one shift separates me and the weekend. Yesterday was a busy day. In the morning, I put out fires, and it went quickly. In the afternoon it was a little slower, but all the fires I was putting out yesterday morning came to fruition and by the time I left, everything was pretty ok.

Plus I cleaned out the back room, and moved a clients items out to the outside storage. That gave us some breathing room. Yay!

Tonight is date night, I can’t wait to try another food experience at the local restaurant. I don’t know what I’ll have, but I know it’ll be pretty good.

But right now, coffee please. LET THE WEEKEND BEGIN!

You know you wouldn’t want it any other way

Well, it’s not Friyay, unless you hear the sounds of a cat race in the bathroom. And when I say rave, I mean the big guy, Chaucer, throwing up. Happy Friyay! It’s almost the weekend!

It looks as if the weather is starting to change again, at least for this and next week. It’s warmish out there, and the sun is coming up. It’s just a little windy. It’s still below 0, but the temps right now, we’re in single negative temps. I wouldn’t say spring is coming, but it is starting to get a little milder.

That’s a good thing.

It’s still a little breezy. But that’s ok, if it’s warmer out there.

Coffee is flowing, and the news is on. It was pretty crazy – true crime wise last night. The verdict came in, in the Murdaugh murder trial. The rumour is that the clerk asked the jury if they wanted to order dinner, and the jury foreperson replied back with “we won’t be needing dinner, we have the verdict, we’ll be ready in 10 minutes.”

Crazy. Murdaugh was convicted on all four charges. Guilty on all charges. This morning is the sentencing hearing. Hopefully I’ll hear most of it before I get into work.

What’s the next trial we’re going to be watching? I don’t know yet. All I know is hopefully it’ll be on Law & Crime. I need GiGi and Annejenette guiding me through the crime. Crystal and I pretty much have their backstories already written. I don’t know if I could do that again!

So once again, happy Friyay!

Hold your head up, keep your head up, movin’ on

Is it really Friyay? This has been the week from hell, but it’s not quite over. I have a shift tomorrow, and BossLady will be in. Yay. It’s rare that she works a Saturday, but I’ve thought of things to do.

I’m so happy it’s Friyay. It’s been a long week. Even with taking out my little adventure this week, there’s been so much drama at the store, and hopefully by the end of the week, we’ll be a little drama free, and we’ll be able to move on.

We’ve been watching the Murdaugh trial here. And the big man himself took the stand for some painful testimony, and even worse cross examination. It’s just so painful to watch. It’s day two of the cross examination today. The defence wanted to introduce two witnesses, and then come back to Alex. The state basically said that they wanted to finish their cross examination before new witnesses are called.

It’s very interesting, and like a train wreck, you can’t look away.

Your love is like bad medicine bad medicine is what I need

Finally. Finally it’s Friyay. It’s been a wicked long week. Or at least it feels like it’s been wicked long. The days this week, just didn’t seem like they were moving at any speed other than slow.

We both crashed last night. I think I was really only up just a few minutes before the alarm went off this morning. It was warm and snuggly with Pippin in between us, and Chaucer just wandered up and down us this morning. But all is right in his world now – he’s been fed.

It’s warmish out there, with a high of -1 today. But it’s supposed to be very windy all day. I’ll take it. I’d rather have it warmish, over freezing your balls off. It’s practically tropical out there.

Crystal finally got her Valentine’s Day present yesterday. I picked it up, and since it was somewhat quiet in the office, I quickly wrapped it, and brought it home on lunch. Let me just say that she loves it. That makes me very happy to know that she loves it.

Ok more coffee please. Happy Friyay!
