Pennies and dimes for a kiss

Finally. Finally it’s Friyay. Thank fucking god. This has been a long, long week. But here we are. All that separates us and the weekend is just one shift at work. Can I do it? Yes I can!

Ok, enough toxic positivity for today. Save that for work. It’s Friyay, and it’s still overcast out there. Hopefully, it’ll clear up, and be a little more sunny out there. According to the weather app, it’ll be cloudy until just after lunch, and then it’ll be a lot brighter out.

We don’t have anything planned for the weekend. There’s going to be grocery shopping tomorrow, of course, and chores the following day, but that’s about it. Nothing else on the docket.

I got a text from my mom a couple of days ago asking if they were going to make another season of Star Trek Strange New Worlds. I told her that there was 2 seasons, and I hadn’t heard anything about them cancelling it. She said ok, and told me that they had moved on to Star Trek Discovery. I still have the season finale of New Worlds to finish.

But, I need to refill my coffee cup. Three cheers for Friyay!

Ugh. Awake. I was up on and off this morning. The first time, I looked at the clock. Big mistake – 3:44. The next time I got up, and actually got out of bed and used the bathroom, it was around 4:30. The next time was around 6ish m, I think. So yeah I’ve earned this coffee.

And my nose is all stuffed up.

But, the good news is that it’s Friyay! It’s so close to the weekend, you can almost taste the diner French fries. Almost. I just have to make it through one more day. But today might be a little easier – NewNewGirl will be there today. Just a little bit of a buffer you could call it.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. A little chaotic. BossLady rolled in just after I opened the store. Within minutes, she was off again to the social media persons house. I jokingly told the social media manager to keep her there as long as possible. She did what I asked. As I was walking to the post office, I could see her getting out of her car back at work.

The afternoon went mostly quickly. You see the weeks are going quickly, but the hours are dragging by. Hopefully today will go much quicker. Especially with another body there.

We’ll see. Happy Friyay all 🙂

The water’s getting warm so you might as well swim

Good Friyay morning my friends. It’s almost the weekend. And honestly, I can’t wait. I just have today, and the short shift tomorrow, then it’s the weekend.

Which is good because I was up early with another coughing fit for a few minutes. I tried to stay in bed for as long as possible. But I had to get up and blow my nose, and to get something to drink. I fell back into bed, and eventually fell asleep.

And now here we are. It’s a gray morning, and I have both cats trying to fit on my legs. It’s about that time of the year. It’s chilly so they’re just trying to stay warm. Silly kittens.

I don’t have too much to talk about. So I’m going to leave it like this. So have a cup of coffee and snuggle your pets. It’s Friyay! So let’s party!

Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday. Yep, it’s Friyay here! Woohoo! I was up a little early this morning. I would randomly wake up and cough a couple times until I found a more comfortable position, then the whole thing would start all over again. It’s all good.

The coffee has brewed, and we’re consuming it. I’m a little tired, but it workabale. The cats are wandering around – probably both are fighting for control of the table.

Yesterday at work, wasn’t too bad. We had a couple of customers come in. BossLady was supposed to come in for a few minutes, but I got a text saying the construction was slowing her down too much, and she was turning around. She called a little while later, and I had to gather a few things for her and to just text some pictures to her. Easy.

NewNewGirl was supposed to open with me, but BossLady said she’d be in around noon. Cool. I took care of a few items, and just held down the fort. It was a relatively slowish day. When NewNewGirl arrived that’s when BossLady called and gave us some tasks.

After work, I came home and Crystal had dinner going and it was an amazing meal of beef fajitas. It was so very good.

But today is a new day, so let’s get things started. It’s almost the weekend, friends. Let’s do this 🙂

Yep, we’re awake. I believe that we’ve both been up on and off, since about 3:30. For me, I was a little warm, head all stuffed up, and my back twitching a little bit. I’d just get totally comfortable, and I’d cough, or twitch, and then I’d be on the mission to get comfortable again.

It is what it is.

But it’s Friday. That’s a good thing for sure. It’s been a wicked long week. Most weekend the days go somewhat quickly, but the week moves slowly. Not this week. Both the day and the week have moved at a crawl.

I don’t really have a lot to talk about today. I’m still trying to wake up. So I think I’m just gonna sign off now. You know, stop before the quality goes down.

So yeah, it’s freakin Friyay. Have some coffee for me. I’ll have some for you.
