Long live our noble Queen god save the Queen

Weird, weird dreams. I’d blame Crystal, but this was all my subconscious.

We flew to England. I went right to a book store, and bought a copy of Breaking Dawn.

I flew all the way to London. You know London; fish, chips, cup o tea, bad food, worse weather, Mary Poppins? London!

But at the same time, I’m pretty sure I picked up first edition copies of Harry Potter.

I also had a toaster oven. But it wasn’t a toaster oven. It was an actual oven, just shrunk down to the size of a toaster oven.

But it wasn’t a toaster oven.

Ok, coffee now.

You make me happy with the things you do

Good morning! It’s Friday! You made it! Of course, I totes knew you’d make it. You’re very skillful at making it through the week.

Why is it always the last 20 minutes before the alarm goes off, that the bed is the most comfortable and the your sleep is the deepest ever?

Well I guess my next Book Club book is Brave New World. I hope it lives up to the hype!

Happy Friyay everyone!

Way hey and away we go donkey riding

Awake. It feels like I slept in my left eye. It hurts a little to blink, like not hurt hurt, but hurt. Yanno?

And sometime today, I’ll be posting pictures of my bookcase, in hopes that You, the readers will help me choose the next book to review, and talk about in the Book Club.

But right now, it’s coffee time. Please, excuse me for a moment. Mm, kaffee.

It’s early, and I can’t think of anything else to write this morning. Later, I’ll post something else. Happy Thursyay!

And love is only one fine star away

Well we’re almost there! What day is it? That’s right, it’s HUMP DAY! I woke up this morning, and the snow is still on the ground. I was hoping it was a fever dream or something. But, alas (earwax), it was not.

I just heard a riveting story on how my grandmother found a pair of gloves on the sidewalk in front of her retirement condo, and put up notices and talked to just about everyone in the building, and no one said they lost a pair. So she kept them. And still has them. And, fun fact, is wearing them today.

Her and my mom are currently at the medical clinic for them to get some blood drawn I think. They’ll be back in about a half hour. But until then, sweet silence. Just me, my coffee, and the local morning news.

I’m in the final stretch of The Historian. It’s getting good, and there’s a chance that I won’t make the third Book Club, because I’ll be done. I think I have about 250 pages left.

When I wake up in my makeup, it’s too early for that dress

Hap hap happy Tuesday. I barely heard my alarm this morning. It had been going off for a minute when I thought I heard something, and rolled over.

It’s gray out there, and like I said the snow is starting to stick. At least on the trucks in the driveway. I dislike winter, and I have a love/hate relationship with the snow.

Coffee should be ready to consume now.

And as far as I know there’s no plans for anything here at Shady Acres – I’ll probably pop over to the second hand store when it opens. If it hasn’t gotten any warmer, I’ll take the truck.

Current temp: -3c with the wind it feels like -9. Our high today is -1.
