He’s riding hard to catch that herd but he ain’t caught ’em yet

Hey hey, we’re awake. We were out way past our bed time last night. After the parade, I finished up the day, and we hopped in the Hot Mess Express, and headed to The Valley. The party was in fully swing when we got there. We quickly got our bearings, and grabbed something to eat – Crystal got a very tasty grilled cheese hotdog, and I grabbed some pulled pork tacos. Needing some fries, I got some and sat down to consume.

After the food, we wondered around and found the petting zoo. We petted all the animals. Crystal was able to pet a duck, which she said wasn’t too happy about being touched. We went home after that, because all the activities are pretty much for young kids.

Once the sun went down, we went back for the concert. The band was really good playing a mix of country and western. With just a little bit of rock thrown in. The fireworks were really great. They were launching them right over our heads.

Long story, short (too late). We got home after midnight sometime. We stumbled through our nightly routines, and climbed into bed. I forgot to shut off the alarm, so here we are. Mostly awake, and drinking coffee.

Pretty easy day here today – just chores, and dinner over at Shady Acres. It’s pretty much slothy time for the morning and afternoon. Happy Sunday, my friends!

Good morning my friends. I trust y’all had a pretty ok sleep last night. Crystal cleaned gigantor for me last night, and told me before I was allowed to have cereal, I had to try it totally cleaned, and with an ice cube in it. So I carried it out and fired it up.

I got high.

And the cereal tasted really good.

We finished off season 3 of The Witcher. If they make a 4th season, Geralt’s boots will be a challenge to fill wit the least popular Hemsworth. I’ll try and keep an open mind, and I’ll try not to just Mr. Hunger Games too much. But it’ll totally be a challenge for him.

Yesterday, at work – it was totally quiet. I didn’t hear too many cars moving up and down the street. It was like a ghost town out there. But I did have a couple of browsers come in and look around. One of the browsers was a lady from a couple of days or weeks ago looking at an indoor/outdoor rug. She’s getting closer at pulling the trigger. I wouldn’t be surprised if she came in next week to pick it up.

Nothing much planned for the day. It’s chore day, so I’ll be starting that in a little while. Chaucer is on the chair in the living room “old manning” the front door. He’s like a little neighbourhood watch. He’s keeping an eye on everything. I believe that Pippin is doing the same out the back door.

The coffee is flowing, and I have a beautiful woman on the couch next to me. What more can you ask for? For me? Nothing. It’s a good day so far. I hope all y’all have a good Sunday.

Good morning, happy Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Yes, I think that it’s Monday. The weekend has been all messed up, time wise. It’s very confusing but I did wake up this morning thinking that it was Tuesday and I had to go back to work. I internally freaked out, because I don’t have clean clothes yet.

Yup, it’s chore day. I didn’t want to do it yesterday, so we wouldn’t be rushed to leave for the rodeo. Thankfully, I didn’t, as my mom was at our door at 11:30 or 11:45. So we shut off the TV, and hoped in her truck. I drove us to the rodeo grounds. I found a program, and found out that we were about an hour early for the rodeo. I read online that it was starting at 1. At 1:15 we watched a truck plane doing stunts.

The highlight was the children’s sheep riding. Some held on for so long that they used up all their time while the sheep (which was supposed to run all over the place), just kinda stood there, probably very confused. But it was good for a laugh. And I’m sure the kids had a blast.

We took off before the end. We missed the bill riding. But our asses we’re getting sore, and all of us were sunburnt in some way. So we skipped the traffic and took off.

After we were dropped off. We started to cook dinner – chicken nugget poutine. It was very good. With full tummies, we struggled to stay awake. We mostly made it til 10:15. That’s when we called it a day, and climbed into bed.

What a day. It was a good day.

Leanin to the side but you can’t speed through two miles an hour so everybody sees you

Good sunny morning my friends! The sun is out, and the sun is warm this morning. It’s going to be a nice day out there. I think Chaucer snuggled with us – well, Crystal actually. I don’t know if Pippin snuggled, she was on the couch this morning when I climbed/rolled out of bed.

The coffee has been brewed, and is being consumed. It’s double duty today – chore day, and we’re having brunch today instead of tomorrow. Tomorrow we’ll be heading out to SlightlyBiggerTown for a couple of things. It’ll just be too hectic to have brunch tomorrow and go out. It’s not a big deal, I used to do the chores, and have bunch. I changed it to Monday to kind of extend the weekend.

Yesterday, to give Crystal a shirt break from her sweatshop we walked the block and a half to the local small town museum. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been to visit, and the first time for Crystal. It’s not a big museum, it took us about an hour and half to move our way through it. they have so much packed into such a small building.

We had a lot of fun in there. I found a picture of a friend, so I had to take a picture. I’ll pass that around work, and I’ll have to ask said person why he shaved off his moustache.

For dinner, I made wings for me and yummy chicken sandwiches for Crystal. We were both stuffed when we finished.

But yeah, to day is chore day. Yay chores! But before that can happen, it’s confeve time. Happy Sunday funday!

You thinkin’ what I’m thinkin’ (narnia!) man it’s happenin’

Good morning my friends. We survived the holiday, with bay but a scratch. We had massive thunderstorm warnings, but I’m pretty sure that less than 5 drops of water actually fell. It was nice and clear all night. We even managed to catch some pretty nice fireworks for a few minutes.

Yesterday was a lazy lazy day. We didn’t do a whole lot of anything. It was really nice. We booped around and watched some random things. Then I finally decided on something to watch. We watched the first two Mission: Impossible movies.

They were enjoyed. And honestly, somewhat dated. I mean the first one was released in 1996, and the second one in 2000. The tech is pretty dated now.

We also had the typical holiday dinner. Dinner consisted of some potato chips, and wait for it – hotdogs! It’s been a while since I’ve had hotdogs (in buns), and potato chips. Very yum. We have another 6 buns, and probably more than 6 wieners. But we’ll figure it out!

Not too much on deck here. We have dinner over at Shady Acres, and of course since it’s Sunday, it’s chore day here. The mission is to get it all done before it gets too hot in here. I think we’ll get them done.

But before anything, who wants some coffee? I have enough for two people, so you’re gonna have to bring your own!
