Only one thing that’d make me do this kinda dance Nah, it ain’t this wine, that’s got me buzzin’

Sup. I’m awake. Chaucer let us sleep through the night I believe. I either dreamed that I got up in the night, or I actually got up in the night. We’ll never know. Either way I believe we (at the very least, me), actually slept through the night.

That’s a good thing for sure. I checked the schedule at work last night and found out due to just the pure luck of having a random schedule, I’m not a “key holder” all week. It’s like a mini vacation for me. I still have to do a lot of the tasks, but in my mind, I’m not the one responsible for everything. For example, I don’t have to prepare the nightly deposit, I get to dump the coffee!

But since yesterday was my Friday, I’ll be doing chores today. I got laundry and all that fun stuff to take care of. And as luck would have it, toaster will be coming out this afternoon.

This afternoon, we’ll probably pop out to the second hand store. And by pop out I mean warming the car up, and driving over. I’d walk but it’s too frickin cold out there to drag the Beautiful One out to walk.

Won’t make my mama proud, it’s gonna cause a scene

So, it snowed here yesterday.

And we drove in it. Going to SlightlyBiggerTown wasn’t too bad. Made pretty good time only 20mph below the speed limit. We shopped and got what we needed in town.

We started back to TinyTown, the roads got worse. I had to slow down as the roads were getting worse, and a couple of times I actually felt the back end start to slide, and slowly drift over to the shoulder of the road. But we made its back to TinyTown, not in the greatest time, but I wasn’t going for speed.

For entertainment last night, I noticed that Twisters was finally available to rent, so that’s what I did. When Crystal got out of the tub, we settled down and watched. I really enjoyed the movie, it totally stands on its own.

It’s chore day here, as I really try to avoid looking out the window. It’s a winter wonderland out there. I guess I should get used to it. I won’t see grass or bare pavement for 6 months.

But first, coffee

I don’t believe in God, but I believe that you’re my savior

Good morning. We’re awake, and I’m surrounded by kittens. Crystal is on the other side of Chaucer.

Oh, and it’s froggy out there again.

But to combat that, we have central heating and cats to keep us warm. And they’re doing a great job in keeping me warm, at least. The coffee is helping as well.

We didn’t do too much yesterday. I went up to shady acres, and to get a new dresser. I put it in my mom’s truck and drove it back to the Flat. From there, we drove to SlightlyBiggerTown for a couple of supplies.

After everything had been procured, we drove home, and are out Subway lunch. After lunch, I got red if the old dresser, and installed the new one in it home.

We didn’t do too much after that. It’s nice to be able to do nothing. It totally relaxed me, and I was ready to fall asleep by 8ish but managed to made it to bedtime.

Let’s kick the day in the nuts and get started!

‘Cause everybody knows that smoking ain’t allowed in school

The beautiful one let me sleep in a little bit. And I finally broke through her defences, and snuggled her just a little bit before throwing back the covers, and once again emerging into the cold cruel world.

Hello world!

The coffee has been brewed, and is currently being consumed. Chaucer is looking for a lap (mine) to lie in. I have my legs up, and he’s not too happy about that. I know for a fact, that if I straightened out my legs, he’d be laying on my lap.

Not too much on deck for today; laundry, and chores. After all that is done, I’ll have to find some wrapping paper and wrap my mom’s birthday gifts, and we’ll head over there around 3. So I should get my ass in gear.

I was smart last night, and took the bacon out of the freezer last night. Damn, I’m good.

I’m so sick from the drink, I need home for a rest

I’m awake.

The bed was so snuggly, I didn’t want to leave. But I had to. I got shit to do. But currently I have Chaucer holding me down. He’s snuggled right in.

I slept like the dead.

Today, we don’t have too much on our table. I have laundry to do. Brunch to cook, and later, I’ll be hauling 10 bags of wood pellets into Shady Acres.

I don’t really have too much else to say, so here’s a picture. Look at that for a little while, it’ll take some time for me to wake up. Happy Sunday my friends, pop over to Crystal’s page to ask her about a cake!
