Goin’ up to the spirit in the sky (spirit in the sky)

Yep. Up early again. I think I was a little too high last night. I couldn’t calm my thoughts. NewGirl texted the group chat with me and BossLady right before I went to bed. Her mom was in the ER, and she might have to take her to CapitalCity because she’s developing blood clots. She got her COVID shot last week. So that what NewGirl is thinking caused the clots. After that, it was me dreading going to work, because BossLady will be there this morning. After I post this, I’ll text the chat to see if I’m needed to go in. If not, I’ll be walking to the gas station to buy a new charging cord as for some reason mine didn’t want to charge my phone last night. We had a power blip last night/this morning some time, and that seemed to trick my charger into working, and I was in the green this morning. When I unplugged and plugged back in, nothing. So I think and hope it’s just the cord.

But if I have to go in, it’ll be ok as well. I’ll take the hours. Bills are due when I get them, so another shift will definitely help with those. But I was so looking forward to having this Saturday to recover from the absolute hell week of moving furniture from one place to another. I’m sore.

Either way will be fine with me, to be honest. The coffee is finished brewing, and I could ready use the caffeine kick this morning. But I’ll do my normal week day routine, and prepare to go into work in a couple of hours.

Now I don’t want people to think that I’m in a bad mood this morning. Not at all! The sun is shining, and guess what? ITS STILL ABOVE FREEZING! And there’s not a cloud in the sky. It’s a great day, to have a great day. Happy Saturday everyone!!

Let’s role play, I’ll wear a disguise

So I paused Brooklyn 99, to fix my bed, cause I was a little tossy turny last night, and my weighted blanket slipped down down down, so I went in to fix it. I’ve been trying so hard to keep The Flat clean and tidy. I mean, I run toaster 3 times a week. I walked into the bedroom, and was floored with what I saw.

Needless to say I was a little upset. I remade the bed, put the clothes in the hamper, after unrolling the sleeves.

Next, the kitchen. I put away all the dishes and wiped down the counter.

I feel better now that I’ve cleaned up. I’ll do better in the future. It’s stupid, but I’m really really trying to not live in a pit.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

I should’ve worshiped her sooner

If I’m looking at my calendar correctly, it’s Friyay! It’s grey and windy, with just a little bit of drizzle. That should should go away, to turn into a really nice day out. Highs in the upper 20s today. I might change into shorts after lunch. It depends on the temp at lunch. The last time I wore shorts, it snowed the next day.

The coffee is brewing, and I can’t wait for it. I’m a little groggy this morning. That’ll fade, as I slowly wake up.

I don’t really have any plans for the weekend. I’ll do laundry, etc. Monday, I’ll go to SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries, etc. Wednesday, I’ll be getting my first shot for the COVID vaccine. Yay needles.

But the coffee is ready, so I’m off. Have a great Friday everyone! We made it!

It’s bright, and I can hear birds singing this morning. I was up briefly to pee in the night, and then up about 3 minutes before my alarm went off. I’m not as sore as I thought I would be from moving furniture all day. From 9-5 me and a friend of BossLady organized the warehouses. Today, I want to continue that. We had a thing where we jump on something, get about half way through, and then we fizzle out. Not this time. I want to work on it today to get it closer to being finished.

I don’t think BossLady will be in all day. She said she was going to be in in the morning and she’d be going to CapitalCity tomorrow. We’ll see if she stays all day.

I have my appointment for the first COVID shot next Wednesday. It’s about time. Crystal has had hers for like a month. We’re not as advanced here. She got the single shot, I’ll probably be getting the AstraZeneca shots.

But the coffee is ready, so let’s consume some caffeine. Have a happy Thursday, you got this. Pick things up and put them down!

I think I slept through the night. That’s right, all the way through. I should make this on a calendar. It’s been a long time since I slept all the way through.

Yesterday. What can be said about yesterday? BossLady has to stop throwing everything that’s swimming through her mind at us all at once. Let us do one thing at a time. Please. More will get done, and done correctly.

Anyways, you know the drill. I’m awake, dressed, and the coffee is just about done brewing. And today is the day that I can try to register to get the COVID vaccine. We’ll see.

It’s sunny out there, but windy, and chilly out. It’s not supposed to be as warm today as it was yesterday. But it’ll be above freezing, and no plans for snow today.

That’s a good thing.
