And that’s why I hang my hat in Tennessee

Good morning my friends. The Podrick wasn’t too bad this morning. I heard some banging, but not a lot, so I reset Sleep Daddy, and tried to sleep. I think I did … mostly. But I’m kinda stuffed up. But I think I managed to doze. When I got up, I looked at the time, and The Beautiful One /w Podrick let me sleep in a little.

Won’t be able to sleep in tomorrow. In fact, I have to set my alarm for tomorrow. There. All set. 5am. I’m working all weekend. Due to how the schedules have been thrown together, this is my first full weekend in just about a month.

I think the calming “glade plug-in” is working pretty good. We watched Pippin jump up on the stand in front of the window. She looked out of it for a while, then she moved closer to a sleeping Podrick. The. A little closer, and she started to clean him. Then after a little while, she just curled up as the little spoon, and went to sleep.

I just remembered that I have a doctor’s appointment today. I mean I know I have one, it’s been on the calendar for a month. I look at it every day. Course, when you never really know what day it is, everything’s a surprise.

Let’s get the day started, shall we?

Brenda, put your bra on, there’s trouble next door, Marvin baby mama, put that whore on the floor

Happy birthday to the Beautiful One! Crystal has her anniversary of making one full rotation around the sun! I love you baby! I hope it’s a great day for you! ❤️

The kitty calmer that Crystal bought last week, arrived yesterday morning. So I got dressed, and hit up the post office. Within minutes, t was plugged into the wall, like a glade plug-in. Pretty quickly after that, Podrick huffed straight from the plug in. From there, he pretty much slept from around 11:30ish (?) until he rolled off the couch, for a couple of bites of food. Then he was sleeping again.

He pretty much slept until about 10:30-10:45. That’s when he started to wake up. We kept him on the straight and narrow, until we went to sleep. I turned up my Sleep Daddy, to try and cover up whatever he was doing, while we tried to fall asleep. I only had to reset the talk down once.

Podrick was pretty good this morning. I only felt him crawl across me a couple of times. Then he was thrust out of the kingdom. I only heard the door knob rattle a couple of times, then he got bored. But that doesn’t stop the Podrick. Nope he went at that door knob, like the knob owed him money.

Back to work this afternoon. All, well most of the diesel has been removed from my clothes. I’ll be wearing the exact clothes today that I wore Tuesday before everything went to shit. Let’s see what happens today!

It’s Thursday, and I work all weekend. Let’s get some coffee!

I shoulda known better than to take him back to Abilene

Be right back. I have to fill the bath tub with vinegar, soap and cloths covered in diesel. No explanation needed, in my opinion.

It’s a Wednesday.

No explanation, but I submit a photo, I’ve designated as peoples exhibit 00346127.

That’ll soak for a while. Probably til around 11 or so, when it goes into the washer. This stuff has to be washed and dried before I go to work tomorrow afternoon. So we’ll tackle that in a little while. I’m told future Shawshank has the plan.

Other than the stuff that’s in the bathtub, I don’t have too much of a plan for the rest of the day. I should start to plan for dinner, but I’ll deal with that a little later.

The day has started, get on the train, bitches.

I’m gonna love you forever and ever forever and ever, amen

I thought Crystal said it was after 7, when I mumbled what time it was. Spoiler alert; it was not after 7. Welcome to o’dark 45. It was 6:45 when I rolled out of bed. And within a few minutes, coffee has been brewed. And the cats have been fed. I put a little more food in Pippin’s bowl this morning.

Remember everyone, even with the Superb Owl, the Olympics, and everything else going on right now, don’t forget that it’s black history month.

I don’t really know what else to write about. I’m actually drawing a complete blank, so I think I’m going sign off, and drink more coffee to wake up. I hope all y’all have a great, checks notes Tuesday, my friends.

But I’m a third generation bartender and I like livin’ from a tip jar week to week

Good and happy Monday morning my friends. Of course it’s dark out there. And windy. It was wicked windy last night. I’ve yet to open the curtains to see how windy it actually is. I don’t even know what the temperature. But it’s probably cold out there.

The Patriots lost last night 29-13

It’s a rebuilding year. Or something like that.

We didn’t do too much yesterday. I mean it was the lords day after all. We got up, I think early. It’s been a while since I’ve even made it to 7am in a week or two. Podrick keeps a tight ship. If he wants you up, eventually, he’ll break you.

But, we got up and started our morning yesterday. I know it was early. Maybe 6 am or so. I started the coffee, and refilled the carafe once. I think around 8ish or so, I started the laundry. I didn’t do the rest of the chores yesterday. I was just present in the morning.

I made our breakfast brunch. And lemme tell you, I did pretty good. I’m still practicing with the little egg poaching cups. They turned out better than the week before, and they’ll probably be better next week. Crystal had a toasted bagel with 2 slices of melty cheese, and bacon.

At Shady Acres, I hauled in the remaining bags of wood pellets, then cleaned the stove. It’s not too bad, just a lot to vacuum. But within a half hour, I was back upstairs with everyone else. I put on a special about the Blizzard of 78, and the fallout that happened in Rhode Island. After that, I put on a rodeo, so we weren’t sitting in complete silence while everyone was on their devices.

Back to work this afternoon, and I need to refill my coffee cup. It’s Monday people, let’s start this fucking week!
