Singing “Sweet Home Alabama” all summer long Shawshank, July 6, 2024 I managed to sleep in until 7:30. That’s pretty good, if you ask me. It’s bright and sunny this morning. *checks weather app* it says that the sun will be eaten by clouds after 9 this morning, and it’ll just be cloudy all day. The family BBQ at the old folks home was pretty nice. The food was very good, and they had a bouncy castle. Gramma was in “a bit of a mood”, and was pretty quiet all the time we were there. After the BBQ, we went back to the flat for a little while, and then I was off to work. Work wasn’t too bad. Mostly steady for the evening, but got quiet closer to the end. It was totes manageable, and we were out right on time. That brings us to today. I don’t have any plans for the day. According to the town newsletter, there’s the weekly farmers market happening tomorrow. Maybe we’ll check it out. We went once last year, and had some fun just looking around. If anything, it’s something different to do. I don’t know, I’ll talk to the great Crystal about it later. Yep, it’s the weekend. Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningsTinyTown

Life Cause I saddle up my horse, and I ride into the city April 18, 2024 Is it Friday yet? If not, why the hell did it snow last night? Why did it snow, when Crystal proclaimed that it was now spring? One of our customers put it perfectly. We wouldn’t have this problem, if Mother Nature was a man. Women just can’t seem to make… Read More
Life Bridges gettin’ lower, the shrimp boats coming home December 10, 2024 It’s a cool dark morning out there. Thankfully, I’m inside. I probably would’ve frozen to death if I was outside all night. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light. I don’t think I even moved, after I rolled over. Work was a little… Read More
