Singing “Sweet Home Alabama” all summer long Shawshank, July 6, 2024 I managed to sleep in until 7:30. That’s pretty good, if you ask me. It’s bright and sunny this morning. *checks weather app* it says that the sun will be eaten by clouds after 9 this morning, and it’ll just be cloudy all day. The family BBQ at the old folks home was pretty nice. The food was very good, and they had a bouncy castle. Gramma was in “a bit of a mood”, and was pretty quiet all the time we were there. After the BBQ, we went back to the flat for a little while, and then I was off to work. Work wasn’t too bad. Mostly steady for the evening, but got quiet closer to the end. It was totes manageable, and we were out right on time. That brings us to today. I don’t have any plans for the day. According to the town newsletter, there’s the weekly farmers market happening tomorrow. Maybe we’ll check it out. We went once last year, and had some fun just looking around. If anything, it’s something different to do. I don’t know, I’ll talk to the great Crystal about it later. Yep, it’s the weekend. Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningsTinyTown

It’s a somewhat nice day out, so I moved Mr. Banana, the… Read More
Life Watch the band through a bunch of dancers December 18, 2022 Good morning. We, well, I slept in. I don’t know about Crystal, but I made it until 7:44 according to the alarm clock. I woke to Pippin leaping across the bed to attack Crystal’s fingers and toes. Every morning the girls play in the bed. It’s very cute seeing Pippin… Read More
Life They could care less as long as someone’ll bleed May 8, 2024 Well, the rain has stopped (for now). All we need is for the wind to stop as well. Hopefully that’ll stop soonish. Yep, here we are. Fresh out the bed. I’m getting used to second shift. It’s hard though, because two days out of five, I’m working mornings. So it… Read More
