Raise a little Hell, raise a little Hell, raise a little Hell Shawshank, June 16, 2023 Good Friyay morning my friends! It’s almost the end of the work week! The coffee is brewing, and we have a Chaucer snuggling next to us on the couch. It’s a gray day out there. Just like it was yesterday, we’ll see if it gets any better today. Yesterday was a busy day. I had to deliver some deck furniture to BossLadies house. That was a chore. The picnic table had to weigh about 200lbs. We had to go up 10 uneven stairs. My legs almost gave out, but we managed to get it up to where it was supposed to go. Yay! After that we picked up a chair from a customers house, saying that we’d be back just after lunch. That promise was kept, and I dropped off the new chair, unpacked it, and set it up for the client. Back to the store for the last couple of hours. After work was done, Crystal cooked a great meal of veal, pasta, and Alfredo sauce. So very good. But it’s a new day now, let’s have some coffee, and get ready to greet the day! Happy Friyay!! I sprung out of my bed to see what was the matter. She was in the laundry area closet. She rushed out when she heard me get out of… Read More
Life If it’s anyone’s fault, it’s the lime and the salt July 13, 2026 Well, it’s about 20°s cooler this morning. It’s still humid, and we’re continuing our mini heat wave. Instead of a high of 94-96° like yesterday. Only a high of 87° today. That’s a good thing for sure. We headed out to SlightlyBiggerTown for some supplies. We drove in comfort and… Read More
