Próspero año y felicidad (Ah-ha)

Good chilly morning from north of the wall. Yep, it’s that time again. The Flat is awake. Chaucer is on my lap, Pippin is in the window, and the Beautiful One is next to me on the couch, of course looking beautiful.

Work was, well, work. People came in and had the most perfect timing of as soon as I take off my coat, another would pull up, and I’d have to go back out into the arctic. Definitely not cool, yo.

It’s a day off here, and the next 3 days (4 if you include Monday), I’ll be opening at the store. Yep, up when it’s dark, and home in the early afternoon for the next few days.

Today is all about Persona 5 Royal. I brought home lunch and dinner last night. Crystal has gotten a little farther a head, so today will be the day that I catch up to her again. This system seems to work; she gets a head I catch up, and gets a little ahead, and Crystal pulls into the lead again. It’s a nice back and forth.

So yeah, that’s what’s happened. I need a refill, and I have to move Chaucer. Happy Wednesday y’all.

Bridges gettin’ lower, the shrimp boats coming home

It’s a cool dark morning out there. Thankfully, I’m inside. I probably would’ve frozen to death if I was outside all night. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light. I don’t think I even moved, after I rolled over.

Work was a little slow yesterday. TinyTown was still kind of recovering from the weekend snow/freezing rain. So for most of the day, the highway was closed, and even when I left work, it was still listed as covered. That’s one step better than travel not recommended.

Back to work again this afternoon. Then I have Wednesday off. And for the rest of the week, including Saturday, I’m opening the store. Yay. I’ve spent the last two months almost exclusively closing, and now I’m starting to get more day shifts. I don’t like it. On one of those day shifts, I’ll talk with BossLady and see what her plan is. I don’t want any day shifts.

We’ll see.

Anyways, I’m out of words, and I’ll have to move a cat here pretty quickly. So, I believe it’s Tuesday, so viva la Tuesday!

don’t mind the strain of a hurricane, it comes around every June

Good Monday morning everyone. We’re awake here. I think we got up just before the town plows are starting up to clean the roads. We’ve had a day or two of some freezing rain, and snow. Now it’s time to clean it up.

And, it’s back to work. How come two days off go so fast? I mean Saturday of course would go quickly as we drove to SlightlyBiggerTown, and yeah we did things there. But Sunday should’ve go a little slower.

I’m totally not prepare for having to leave the house today. But of course, I’ll leave, and come back after work. It’s kinda what I do. I leave the house and get paid for it. So of course m, I’ll do it today. I like money.

So, I hope all y’all had a great weekend because, I totally did. I hung out with a cool chick, and Crystal and I had a lot of fun either out and about or hanging out on the couch, and I can’t wait to do it again.

But maybe just a half a drink more (put some records on while I pour)

Good morning all. I was up sometime in the night – I don’t know what time it was because, I didn’t move my mask to look at the time. Just went to the bathroom, and back into bed. Crystal let me sleep in a little, which is always nice.

Yesterday we headed out to SlightlyBiggerTown, we hit up the second hand store where Crystal found some Christmas lingerie, I don’t think I said it out loud last night, but she look amazing in it. Her yaboscopic gravity looks amazing in the outfit. I grabbed us a pizza and then some Subway for lunch. We traveled home and had a really night relaxing afternoon and evening.

It snowed last night. I haven’t been outside test to see how frozen it has become. Last night, we were under a freezing rain watch. So who knows what it’s like out there. I’ll find out later.

It’s Sunday, that means it’s chore day. I’ve been really lax on chores as it’s hard to get into chore mode at 9 am on say, a Tuesday morning. It’s not a good excuse, but it’s my excuse.

So here we are. Sunday morning. coffee has been brewed and is currently being consumed. Happy Sunday y’all.
