Bridges gettin’ lower, the shrimp boats coming home Shawshank, December 10, 2024 It’s a cool dark morning out there. Thankfully, I’m inside. I probably would’ve frozen to death if I was outside all night. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light. I don’t think I even moved, after I rolled over. Work was a little slow yesterday. TinyTown was still kind of recovering from the weekend snow/freezing rain. So for most of the day, the highway was closed, and even when I left work, it was still listed as covered. That’s one step better than travel not recommended. Back to work again this afternoon. Then I have Wednesday off. And for the rest of the week, including Saturday, I’m opening the store. Yay. I’ve spent the last two months almost exclusively closing, and now I’m starting to get more day shifts. I don’t like it. On one of those day shifts, I’ll talk with BossLady and see what her plan is. I don’t want any day shifts. We’ll see. Anyways, I’m out of words, and I’ll have to move a cat here pretty quickly. So, I believe it’s Tuesday, so viva la Tuesday! America’s Team…. Read More

I’m always surprised when it’s this bright out. I always think that I forgot to shut off a light. But that’s not the case. I have a nighttime checklist to make sure everything is… Read More
