Keep a little dirt under my pillow for the dirt man

Good morning everyone. It’s a bright and shiny day here in TinyTown. It looked like it rained most of the night. Now it’s just windy. I said it was bright and sunny, but it’s really mostly cloudy, and I think it’ll be like this most of the day.

Work yesterday, wasn’t too bad. Mostly just slow. I opened yesterday, now for the rest of the week, I’ll be the swing shift. So I’ll be working the 8-4 shift. It’s an ok shift, so it’s not too bad.

I won’t be heading home right after work. I have to head over to Shady Acres, to help my dad engineer something so he can go for walks to build up his strength again.

But right now, it’s coffee time. And Chaucer is staring at me, he requires my lap, but I gotta get up and get dressed. Let’s get the day started.

Mix it up with something strong I feel a sin comin’ on

It was a froggy morning here in TinyTown when I woke from my slumber. I went to bed a lot earlier than I really wanted to, but I adjusted the heat on my vape, and it totally kicked my ass. I passed out around 8:30. Only up once, maybe twice in the night to go to the bathroom, etc.

Still, 4:30 came wicked early in the morning. But I rolled out of bed, and started my day. Lemme tell you, it didn’t get too exciting once I got to work. It was slow. I made it through though.

My birthday weekend wasn’t too bad. I got some hoodies from my parents, but I don’t think they’ll fit. I asked for 1X or 2X, so they’ll fit after they’ve been washed. I got two from my parents, and they’re only a large. They barely fit.

The turkey dinner was really good though.

Crystal is wrapping my presents just a couple of feet in front of me, I can’t wait to see what she chose for me. Chaucer is licking and chewing on the plastic. Pippin is off doing Pippin things.

And I get to get up and do it all again tomorrow. I love the smell of capitalism in the morning!

He had a pickup truck and the devil’s eyes

Good Sunday morning, on this second day of Pride month. How’s everyone doing? Settling in alright? I hope so. We hit the bed last night, and after some ahem, activities, we both passed out. Well, I did. I assume that the Crystal did as well.

I don’t think I moved more than 2 or 3 times. The bed was my prison, and let me tell you that the bed wouldn’t let me move. I was in 100% comfort. I heard the alarm, and I really didn’t want to move, let alone get out of bed.

So comfortable.

And now, here we are, in the world of the living. It’s mostly overcast. But the wind has finally stopped. Just a bit of a breeze this morning.

Yesterday was a really nice day. I walked up to Shady Acres to grab the truck. From there, we went to SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries, makeup, weed, and some rather large sandwiches from the local Subway. I dropped off the truck, and we ate some lunch. I watched some TV, then passed the control over to Crystal so she can play her new video game for a few hours.

Dinner was made, baths were had, and there was snuggling on the couch. Tonight, we’ll head over to Shady Acres for my birthday dinner, and present. It’s back to work tomorrow. Happy Chore Day everyone. I hope all y’all have a good day.

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag

Awake! We (probably just me) slept in a little. You see, I forgot to reset the alarm last night, so it went off at 6 this morning. That’s ok, I just rolled over and went back to sleep. I managed to sleep in just a little bit this morning. Just enough so the morning routine is just a little different.

Yesterday, Crystal had a new friend – a tick. So I stripped the bed, and put on the winter sheets. I figured that we’d be too warm in mere minutes, but I was very comfortable all evening. It was just warm enough, that I didn’t wake up cold. But today the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and currently, it’s just a little breezy out there. Hopefully it stays like that for the Grad parade this evening.

Later on this morning, we’ll be heading over to SlightlyBiggerTown for groceries, and other sundry items. I’m excited to get out of town for a little while and to get to hang out with Crystal.

And it’s sunny.

It hasn’t been sunny for a while here. Like blue sky sunny. We’ve had patches of sun, but this is full sky sunny. So let’s get this day started!
