I’m feeling so much better than 24 hours ago. Not 100%, but I slept thought the night. It was only around 6ish when I was partially asleep. I was a little tossy turny, but man, I slept through the night. That’s all I wanted. And I didn’t sweat through my clothes in the night either.

But we did manage to do a couple of things during the day. With Crystal being a lot busier. She finished her Strawberry Shortcake hat. All hand sewed. But before she was working on that, we became tourists for about 5 minutes. We hit the two photo spots in TinyTown. Once we had those, we hopped home, and that’s when Crystal went all trade, an hand-sewed her, I guess it would be a bonnet.

We spent the remainder of the day, vegging out and watching Murder, She Wrote. Wow what a different time. Some long shots were taken by helicopter from a distance, no drones back in 1985.

I just added water to the coffee pot. Good morning, welcome to Friyay!!

I didn’t sleep well at all. I think I had a fever last night/this morning. I tossed and turned all nightCl, either sweating, or shivering. Finally around 2 this morning I got up, and took some Advil. I think that’s when the fever broke, and I could get some sleep. I just feel bad, as I probably kept Crystal up all night. It was not a good night. I hope I never have to go through a night like that again. I was way too hot, so I took off my shirt and shorts. Still too warm I moved up a level, now only under one blanket. Still too warm, so I’d stick a foot out of the covers – full body shivers until I pulled the foot back under the cover – boom, I’m sweating balls again. Thankfully, after taking the Advil, I passed right out, and when I’d randomly wake up, I was chilly, but that was because I was covered in sweat.

Another day off today. We’ll pop out later to the second hand store. Then we have to grab a couple of tourist pictures for Crystal’s mom – snowflake, and adirondack chair. I have no idea what we’re going to have for dinner tonight, but I’m not thinking that far ahead. I need to take some more Advil, as my head is still pounding. Other than that, I don’t want to do too much of anything. I’m happy just snuggling on the couch, and repeatedly apologizing to Crystal for keeping her awake for most of the night.

Good morning. Didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. It’s chilly in the Flat, and the bed was so warm. Almost just a little too warm. So I stuck out a foot a for a couple of minutes , and the bed was comfy warm again. now, with the harsh light of the morning, we’re up, with coffee. Podrick is being an ass, but I don’t hear any growling.

Sometime in the night, I think an early this morning, Pippin was trying to get comfortable by my face. I gave her pets, but she eventually moved somewhere else. But she snuggled me for a little while. When I opened the bedroom door, Podrick chased her in. So for the first couple minutes I was yelling, trying to get him to stop chasing her. I think they’re both on the table looking out the back door.

We should be getting the furnace fixed today. Hopefully this morning, we’ll be getting the thermo coupler or some other Star Trek techno lingo. Just make the furnace make heat again.

I’m off for the next two days. I don’t really plan on leaving the Flat today. But maybe tomorrow, we’ll head over to the second hand store to see what treasures they have there.

Thankfully, our furnace will get fixed tomorrow.

It’s freakin cold in here this morning! I have the stove set to about 500°, and the timer is set on the stove. It’s currently 26° out there. And that’s dog shit my friends. Sometimes living North of the Wall sucks.

Work wasn’t too bad last night. The time went quickly, but it just felt long. Yanno? But we managed to take care of the customers that came in. I was a sneak and switched the heating system from AC to heat last night. It took six hours for my coworker to notice. It wasn’t a bad day, we had some laughs, and some grr moments, but we made it! Lol

Pippin is still a sneezy girl, but she did a thing last night that told me she’s starting to feel a little better – she started to chase Podrick. I think she was on the bed for most of the night in her little nest. Then at one point, she curled up under the covers with Crystal. But only after I kicked Pod out the bedroom.

Back to work this afternoon. I do have to clean out the furnace room, and sweep it so the thermo coupler can be installed for heat. Then the Flat will be totes warm! Happy Tuesday!

And I want these words to make things right but it’s the wrongs that make the words come to life

It’s fucking cold out there everyone. Fall has come to North of the Wall. It feels like 20° out there. We are not impressed. I’m mostly dressed, but sadly I can’t go out in what I’m wearing. So yeah I can’t wait for the handy man to fix our furnace. Thermo coupler or something like that. Even though it sounds like that part should be in Star Trek or something.

We didn’t do a whole lot of anything yesterday. I did the laundry, cleaned the bathroom, and made brunch. It was just a lazy day all around. I help Crystal build her underwear. I can hold things! I held while she pinned, and neither of us got poked by a pin. That’s win-win in my books. After laundry, and brunch, we went to Shady Acres for dinner.

I slept like the dead last night. Pretty much as soon as my head it the pillow. The bed was so snuggly. Unfortunately, Crystal can’t control her body temperature, so I’m sure I had her pushed to the side of the bed to try and get away from me tin the night. I’m sure when I pull her against me, if she’s in a cool cycle, probably feels good for about 3 seconds, then I’m way too warm.

Back to work this afternoon. I wonder what’s changed over the last couple of days. Let’s do it! It’s gonna be a good (but chilly) day! Coffee!!
