And when the band plays “Hail to the Chief” ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord

Good morning all you party people! It’s a bright and sunny morning here in TinyTown, and I have coffee! I’ve moved some plants outside this morning. So they should be happy out there.

Up on deck this fine day, I get to introduce Pippin to the wonderful world of chore day. She’ll get to experience the sounds and fun of laundry. That should be interesting.

But I’ll be starting that in about an hour or so. It’ll be ok. And from a suggestion from Crystal, I’ll probably run Toaster around 2 this afternoon, so I’ll be at home when it runs, I case it freaks her out too much.

Ok, more coffee and Dateline please!

Yeah, you got that yummy-yum
That yummy-yum, that yummy-yummy

Good morning party people. We made it to Saturday! Boy, lemme tell you last night was totally better than the night before. Yeah she still played, and even made it to the top of the bookcase.

She was all over the place. I decided that I wouldn’t call for her, I’d let her tire herself out. I don’t know how long it took, but she finally came up into bed, and actually made herself comfortable, but she bedded down.

Uncomfortably close to my face.

She’s a snuggler for sure. But she fell right asleep under the blankets and snuggled as close as she could to me.

No real plans for today. Just making sure she’s settling in well.

But first coffee.

On a gathering storm comes a tall handsome man

So last night as soon as I went to bed Pippin decided to drop her new album, and screamed for two hours. I’m not even sure if she was in bed when I finally got to achieve sleep. If you’re curious the new album is 🔥

Then the alarm goes off and I stumble out of and stumble to the kitchen and look out the window:

The first snowfall of spring is always so majestic.

I have coffee. Happy Friyay!

We’ve had one, yes. What about second breakfast?

Let me start off; choosing a good name is really, really hard. I’ve struggled with choosing a name since Tuesday.

The names I originally had in mind, didn’t fit. Not one bit. Disheartened, I pressed on to find the best name for her.

I narrowed it down to two. Crystal suggested that I flip a coin, and as it was flipping, I’d know which name I’d want for her.

It flipped the way I had hoped.

So let me introduce properly this time, Pippin. Claws of steel, snuggle monster, demander of attention.

Phew! It’s done!

Pussycat, pussycat I’ve got flowers and lots of hours to spend with you

Good morning party people! It’s me, on a rare week day day off! Today is the day that I bond with the force of nature currently going by the moniker “kitty” as I try and figure out what a good name would be for her.

Choosing a name is easier when Crystal was beside me in the drive home. I thought I had a name picked out for her. However, the name was good but didn’t seem to fit with her. I have a couple of other names that I’m toying with, but I will figure out a good name for her.

Last night was a lot better. There was no up and down up and down. She jumped up on the bed, and this is where I opened my eyes to watch her. She “stood guard” for a minute or two, then curled up next to my face and went to sleep.

But right now, she’s laying on top of me. And I have to get up to blow my nose lol.

And I need more coffee.
