Well. Last night was interesting. It took the kitten a couple of hours to settle down and then she climbed under the blankets with me and slept under my chin or on my arm.

She’s currently somewhere in the bedroom right now I think the alarm kind of scared her. She did use the litter box last night.

Thankfully I have coffee this morning because I think we were both light sleeping because we didn’t know what to do.

Outside, it is raining and it is very windy outside. Hopefully, it’ll get nicer out today.

Good morning! The birds are singing, and the grass is green. Coffee is brewing and I was wide awake before the alarm went off.

I got up, and dressed. I stumbled out and turned the coffee on. I think opened the blinds and turned the tv on. While I was still trying to focus, I accidentally turned Duo on and for some reason, automagically started a call with Crystal as I was trying to turn on the news.

Happy Tuesday!

Hopefully, that doesn’t mean that’s how the day is going to go!

I’ve seen a million faces and I’ve rocked them all

The coffee is all done. I still have a 1/4 full cup beside me. But for all intents and purposes, I’m finished with coffee for the day.

It’s actually been a slight flurry of doing stuff this morning. It’s a somewhat nice day out, so I moved Mr. Banana, the succulents, the Anthurium, and the sunflowers outside. I looked and the sunflowers and wondered if they needed to be repotted. I prepare a new pot, and pop them out. They are just starting to get a little root bound, so I break up the roots a little bit and place them in the new pot. I think they’re happier, or at least will be in their new home.

Now, just watching the livestream of the Depp Heard trial. I think they’re introducing photographs into the trial. I’m sitting here wondering how many of these photos were staged by Amber.

Just two more sleeps until I can reveal a surprise. Wait. That’s so 2000s where you tease something for days, or maybe weeks just so you can get (hopefully) more hits. Not here! In two days, I’m adopting a kitten. We’ll just a little older than a kitten, but not yet a cat.

I have a cat tree, litter, litter box, and food waiting for her to arrived. I’ll be able to pick her up Wednesday after work. I’m very excited and now, just slightly nervous. I hope she likes it here. I think she will.

I see the bad moon a-risin’

It’s a bright and sunny day here in the Town of Tiny this morning. I think it might be a somewhat nice day.

That’s a good thing.

I slept like a rock last night I don’t think I moved around too much last night. I only got up once, and when I had finished my business, I was back in bed, out like a light again.

It was a good sleep.

Chore day went well yesterday. I had all my chores done like usual, before noon.

Today, I have no plans for the day. I might have to pop up to work around 10:30/11 this morning just to see if a company dropped off our newly designed invoices.

Other than that, the day is mine.

So I have a nice big cup of coffee, what should I do today?

The clouds and the rain have broken, at least for today. It’s sunny and the big yellow globe in the sky is making everything nice and warm.

Good morning party people, welcome to Sunday y’all! Yesterday was a pretty ok day. Work was well, very slow. BossLady called and got me to do a couple of tasks, which took all of 3 minutes.

In the call, she also said that she was going to be giving me a raise! That’s right, Shawshank is getting more green in his pocket! That’s very awesome, and I thanked her a lot for the raise.

From there, I headed off to SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries and other fun stuff. I was thinking on the drive there what I wanted to eat, as I was starving. I ended up going to KFC and just getting a chicken bacon burger with cheese.

I did my business in town and drove back to TinyTown. I put everything away and was in no way hungry for dinner as I had eaten just an hour and a half before. But that’s ok I thought. I just had a snack before hoping in the shower.

Today, is chore day. Soon I’ll be getting my clothes together to start the laundry. I know how to have fun don’t I?!
