I can’t sleep ’cause my bed’s on fire

Hey hey, bitches. It’s ya boi, Shawshank. Fresh off a 7 hour shift with GenAlpha. It was a slow, but steady morning. It’s grad weekend, so it just started to get busy as I was leaving – all my morning tasks complete.

The cats, are well, fucking cats today. I had to deal with GenAlpha all morning, now I have to deal with this cats tearing up the place. It was nice when I woke up, Podrick snuggled against me as Pippin slept on the toilet organizer.

Home now. Relaxing for a while, some tube steaks in the pot on the stove. Tonight, Money in the Bank WWE pay-per-view. It’s mindless, and Crystal and I make fun of the wrestlers.

Don’t you end the party, I could do this all week

We’re awake here. Podrick was bouncing all over me, a sign to get up and feed the little monster. He’s currently chowing down. He even took a break from eating to help Crystal clean out the litter box. He’s a terror for sure. He just kicked Pippin off the back table.

I’m on a day off here. It looks like a nice day out there. So I get home after a pretty good shift last night, and Crystal is on the lanai spinning and tossing her poi around, looking as rhythmic as shit. I gave a quick blast of the train horn, and brought dinner in, and I gave her a kiss. We go in and she has Balatro on pause on the TV. So I open up a new game. I think I had one or two stumbles, but eventually I won, unlocking the Abandoned deck.

It wasn’t a very high scoring round. I’ve had higher, but I was once again surprised when the you win screen popped up. Now, I have to get used to a deck without face cards. I think I still have to beat, maybe, the black deck I think. Maybe I’ll try today. I don’t know what we’re gonna do today. We’ll figure it out.

One thing I do know, coffee. Maybe Balatro. We’ll see! Happy Friyay everyone!

He weighs almost 50 pounds and he delivers my paper on time

Here I am. All awake, like I planned it. I slept until the alarm. Podrick is up with me, running around. I don’t know if it was a dream or not, but at one point I woke up, and I had one of Crystal’s pillows. I don’t know if I actually did, but in my half awake haze, I got rid of it. I tried to put it above us, so if she woke up, she’d find it.

I might have been dreaming.

I don’t know what to write. It’s hard coming up with stuff that’s new, when I was up at this time as well yesterday. Work wasn’t too bad. I cleaned most of my shift. I’ll probably be doing the same thing today. But you can never know for sure.

I need coffee. Happy Thursday y’all!

I’m the smiling face on your TV

Good morning. It’s a chilly bright day out there this morning. It’s that part of spring where it’s still freakin cold first thing in the morning. But we’re dealing with it, by dressing in layers.

Yesterday was a really nice day. We went to SlightlyBiggerTown town to check out the second hand store. I got a pillow, and Crystal got a few items. We stopped at A&W for a quick lunch and then we were back at The Flat. I played some Balatro. I’m trying to beat the Green Deck.

I didn’t beat the Green Deck. But I tried. While I was trying, Crystal and Podrick took a nap beside me. I made very delicious burgers for dinner, and then we watched true crime on Netflix until it was just about bedtime.

Twas a good day. Working a swing shift today and tomorrow. I’ll be home while it’s still light out. That’s a nice thing for sure.
