Void If Removed

It’s dark and cold. It must be the morning. Yep, that’s right, it’s Saturday morning. And it’s a full weekend for me! Woohoo! Last week was the last Saturday I’ll work at my current job. You see, I have four more shifts there.

Anyways, around 9am I called the doctors office in SlightyBiggerTown. The doctors office there sends a doctor to TinyTown on Fridays. When I called on Tuesday or Wednesday, they said they were full up, but to call first thing Friday morning to see if they had cancelations. So that’s what I did. They could fit me in shortly after 11.

It took me longer to walk over that to actually see the doctor.

But lemme tell you again, it’s completely different seeing a doctor in Canada vs. the USA. I walked in, they verified my phone number. That’s it. I didn’t have to show ID, or fill out any type of paperwork. I was led to the office. Within 2 minute the doctor was in.

I told him what was bothering me, and he looked at what was wrong. I explained the next problem, and he did a quick exam. He said he was sending a prescription to the pharmacy, and that was pretty much that.

I went back to the front desk, and asked if they needed anything else from me. The answer: nope, have a great day. It was that simple. It still surprises me on how easy it is here.

Then it was back to work for the rest of the day. The afternoon actually went quickly. I was in full data entry mode, and I’m pretty much finished. Just gotta search for a couple things, then the LiveInventory should be finished. Whew!

But this weekend? I don’t plan on doing a whole bunch of anything. I have to run up to the store, because I forgot yesterday’s mail, and my prescription. But other than that, nothing planned. Maybe I’ll help Crystal stream, who knows!

Wild and crazy!

I slept like the dead. But only if I was on my back, or my right hand side. At one point I was sleeping m, and one of the cats decided to use my chest as a spring board. That was fun. I’d be willing to suspect that it was Pippin chasing greebles. It was an interesting sleep. I got up sometime in the night.

I’m really surprised that I haven’t started to bruise yet. You see, I was walking back to work, after lunch and I went ass over tea kettle and landed on my left shoulder and hip. I can’t really raise my left arm up. Good times. I hurt.

Good morning you party people! It’s almost the weekend. Just two more days, and I’ll have a full weekend off. The exchange for that full weekend? I’m working late tonight. That’s ok, I don’t mind. It’s the last ever ladies night, so it should be some sort of party.

When I got home from work yesterday, Crystal was neck deep in making tiny little buffalo chicken pizzas. Oh man, they were very tasty. I ate two of them.

But right now? More coffee and Chaucer snuggles. He’s already in between us snuggling. I still don’t think it was him that jumped on my chest. But we’re awake, and we’re ready to greet the day. If only the day would come a little later.

We’re under a freezing rain warning this morning. It’s grey and cold out there. So, pretty much a typical early winter morning, north of the wall.

Good morning my friends! It’s Tuesday morning. It’s a typical morning here. Chaucer has already gotten sick, and that’s been cleaned up Crystal has the super power of knowing exactly how much paper towel to use to clean up. She has a few superpowers, but that one is pretty awesome, don’t you think?

As my head hit the pillow, I closed my eyes. I was out pretty much right away. And I managed to sleep all the way through to just about the time the alarm would go off. Yesterday, I finally remembered to change the time on the clock. It was about 20 minutes fast. And freakin loud. So I changed the time, and the volume.

I think it worked. I didn’t jump out of my skin when the radio turned on this morning. So that’s a total win.

Yesterday was a very nice day. I had to run out for a couple of minutes in the morning. After I took care of that, we made nachos for lunch. They were pretty good. And we ate like kings and queens. After the dishes were done, we fired up the TikTok and Skyrim, and Crystal played for the afternoon.

Some weirdos, some normals in the chat. It was a gray day, so it was pretty mellow. But Crystal made progress on her save file. It was a nice afternoon.

I made breakfast for dinner last night. So of course it was a pretty damn good meal. Crystal did the dishes, and then we just snuggled on the couch. It was a really good day off.
