Oh, the weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful Shawshank, October 28, 2023 Ever since it snowed here, all I can think of is Christmas music. It’s weird, I know. But that’s what happened. It’s a windy grayish morning out there. But the sun is rising, and I had to grab a picture for Crystal. I think I slept like the dead last night. I creaked into bed, and it didn’t take a long time for me to fall asleep. I don’t believe I moved around too much, and the alarm didn’t scare me too much this morning. I still have to fix the volume. Course I say that every morning. One day I’ll fix it. Not too much on deck today. I think around 11, I’ll call my dad, and he said he’d meet up with me to get a new battery for the Hot Mess Express. Maybe Crystal will have to change the name to The Phoenix. Because the Hot Mess will rise again! Other than that, nothing is really planned. I mean I don’t have anything planned so we’ll figure it out! We took my parents out to dinner last night. They had to pick us up. That’s fine. We had our usual table all laid out for us when we got there. I kinda slid into the “drama” of the restaurant, by hiding a fly swatter. There was a ransom note. I showed one of the employees where it’s hidden, and the owner said once I gave her a clue, she spotted it right away. I left a note of my own that will be on their table when they go in this morning. All because of what they wrote in the local “news paper” it’s been hidden in the same place now for two weeks. Ok, I hate to cut this short, but I need more coffee. Hopefully, it brightens up and maybe if it’s not too much to ask, warm up a little out there? Maybe? Please?! Life Dancin’ and prancin’ in Jingle Bell Square December 24, 2023 Good morning party people. We’re awake. Well, we’ve been awake on and off for about an hour or two. I couldn’t breathe through my face, and was tossy turny. I think Chaucer was in Pippin’s nest, because he was between my legs EVERY TIME I tried to roll over. so… Read More
Life When there’s one day here, and the next day gone March 29, 2023 Sleep came fast, and I loved it. I woke up just a few minutes before the alarm went off. The bed was so nice and toasty. I didn’t want to leave it this morning. But I must. BossLady should be in today. I was expecting her yesterday, but she was… Read More
Life I got a jones for your affection like a monkey on my back September 12, 2022 Good morning. It’s been a somber morning here as I watched the procession travel up the royal mile from Holyroodhouse to St. Giles Cathedral. I’m still entranced but the military precision that they have. I switched from NBC News Now to Euro News, because they felt the need to let… Read More
