Let the Midnight Special shine a light on me Shawshank, April 11, 2021 I’m awake. I’ve been up since about 6:20. I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn’t. I got out of bed about 10 minutes ago. Loaded the coffee pot, and turned it on. Then I remembered that I wanted to use my French press. I’ll press tomorrow. We’re expecting snow – around 10 centimetres, or around 4 inches. I think though, it’s supposed to rain first, you know to get that nice layer of ice first. It’s not doing anything yet, but it’s grey and chilly out. It looks like it want to fuck some shit up out there. Nothing much on deck this morning. I have laundry to do, and I’m hoping to actually cook breakfast. Least I’m up early enough to make all this around 10ish, so I can save room for dinner, as I’ve been invited over to Shady Acres for dinner tonight. Now if you excuse me, the coffee is ready. We are however, awaiting the next… Read More

Life God, guns, country bumper sticker on the back May 14, 2026May 14, 2026 Good morning my friends. Podrick was a gentleman this morning, and while it sounded like he was ripping the place down, he was actually pretty good. He pulled the towels down in the bathroom, but I think Pippin was the one to open the cabinet door. We’re under a wind warning today. Winds up to… Read More
