I’ve fallen down from grace a few too many times Shawshank, July 21, 2026 It’s a bright and sunny Tuesday morning. Podrick woke us up in his own special way. He doesn’t believe in half measures. It was loud, and pulled us both out of bed quickly. So finally it happened. My co-worker, pissed that someone else got a promotion instead of him. He actually did something about it. Yesterday he got the call, and left his 2 week notice for BossLady to find when she got in this morning. So it should be pretty interesting in about two weeks. I’m the only one other than her and her assistant manager that closes once a month. So yeah let’s see what happens. Back to work this afternoon. Then I’m off for two days, then for some crazy reason, I open Friday, Saturday, open and close Sunday, then weirdly enough, I open again on Monday. Tuesday, though, we’re heading up to CapitalCity with my mom, for a cancer meeting with my dad. He’ll get a private drive up there, where us common folk have to commute. We’ll do some grocery shopping at a Walmart, and we’ll head back home, as I have to work the following day. But right now, I need a helluva lot more coffee. Happy Tuesday every one. I did my business, and was back in the bed before I could get cold. Once again the bed was the perfect temperature. I didn’t… Read More
Life So I settled for a burger and a grape snow cone July 29, 2021 Good morning, it’s bright and sunny and I’m awake, and not too groggy. I actually slept right until my alarm went off today. I’m wicked sore from moving a cabinet bed by myself yesterday. But, BossLady is in CapitalCity, so it’s like a mini vacation today. The coffee is brewing,… Read More
Life If you don’t like who’s in there, vote em out November 3, 2020 Welp, I’ve had better sleeps. It was awesome until around 5 or 6 I think. You see my grandmother has dementia. It was just a bad dream of it getting worse. The terrible thing; I’d wake up, and fall back asleep, and the dream continued. I feel terrible, because in… Read More
