Hoping it’ll take me just a little farther down the line

Back to work this morning. Mid shift today. So of course I’m up early because, I had an alarm set. My body loves to wake up hours before the alarm goes off, to fucking make sure I’m awake. Always hours before the alarm. This time, it started at 4am. Then I woke up at 5:40.

Fuck it. Time to get up.

I’m gonna write this post, and then get up, shower, and get dressed. Hopefully the 8-4 shift will go somewhat quickly.

Fingers crossed.

The New England Patriots are in the Superb Owl for the first time since, I believe they said, 2019. So yeah, it’s been a while. It’s been a heck of a rebuilding decade. It’ll be the patriots vs. The Seahawks. It should be a good game.

Coffee is brewing, but I already have a cup. Once I shower, I’ll see if Crystal would like to get up. Then, I’ll spend the last minutes of warmth on the couch before heading to work.
