Dark

This, by far, is the best television show out there. Let's not even look at the “plate of spaghetti” that they call a story line. The lighting and cinematography in the show is simply amazing.

Never have I seen a dark cave like this look so immense and dreadful. It looks like it would stretch for all of time.
It's been a while since I've watched Dark. So in preparation, the Editor re watched the series. I don't have the unlimited internet here in Tiny Town, so I opted to just watch the final episode in season 2.

Lemme tell you that the episode flew by, just like it did when I watched it the first time. I think it too a re watch of the first season before I could even grasp what as going on. I'd say it took about 15 minutes to remember the characters and what as going on. Do you feel bad for some of the people? Should you? I still don't know what to think. The plot is a lot easier to understand when you watch the seasons at least twice. Trust me.

So all that I can say is watch it. Watch it for the love story, the time travel, the whodunit, the family tree, the secrets. Just watch it. Trust me, you'll like it. You'll like it even better with subtitles.

And you'll come back and watch it again.

  • My wife asked me to stop singing “Wonderwall” to her. I said maybe –
So I managed to drag myself out of bed this morning. I'll say that it was warm. I started to sweat as I was getting my running gear on. I was swearing to myself that I probably should've run yesterday. But I went out and after a little fast walking for a warm up, I managed to squeeze out 1.75 km. it wasn't bad after you get into a rhythm. But I still look like Tom Brady when I run. It doesn't look natural.

That looks about right.

insert witty title here

Good morning. The sun is shining, and those damned birds have been chirping for about 4 hours now. Right about now, I should be getting back from my run. But when I woke up, I simply had no interest in making the run. I dreamed that people were asking me about it, and I said I just didn't feel like it.
So instead, I got up, made coffee, and took a shower. I'm watching the news now, something I do everyday whole Shady Acres is asleep. Today I'm sure will be a ball of nothing, as it is on the week days here. But wait! This afternoon I'll walk to the post office and check the mail. That's exciting, right?
right?

Happy 4th

Happy 4th of July from the Great White North. I was figuring that I’d be doing yard work with my dad today. I slept in, and got up about a half hour later than I usually do. There were storms again last night, with something called “sheet lightning”. I woke up at one point, and thought my parents ran a speakeasy. All I could see what the strobe light effect of the lightning.

Anyways, up at 8am, fully coffee’do by 8:30. I’m. The. Only. One. Awake. Finally by around 10am, dads up. It’s now 1:11, and Shady Acres is all asleep. I have a feeling, that about an hour before dinner, I’ll be out with the Roundup, killing weeds.

Shady Acres is late to rise, and early to bed, by 8:30 they’ll all be asleep. I’m going to find a different place to sit and talk with Crystal, so my allergies don’t kill me. I miss the fireworks, but I miss being with her way more. I can’t wait to talk to her on the phone tonight.

I love her sofa king much. I can’t wait to celebrate Canada Day with her next year. TOGETHER.

Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada Day, everyone!  This is my first Canada Day in Canada in about 19 years, I believe. I don’t know what’s going to happen in Tiny Town, or even here at Shady Acres. The weather outlook isn’t all that great. Thunder and lightning are expected. (I’m writing this a day early, and tonight, we’re expecting hail, lots of rain, and possibly tornados.) Everyone, everywhere always says if you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes. Here, that’s also true. It was drizzling while I was out, and now I just heard thunder.

I think that’s all I have to say right now. I’m still getting used to thinking about, and then putting it into words.

Happy Canada Day!
