There’s a fire in my heart and you fan it, Janet

There. I feel a little better. I had a panicked though; do I have the Rocky Horror soundtrack? A quick check, and I do. Phew.

Shady Acres went down for a nap, I went for a walk.

Time Warp – as loud as possible.

Doing the dance where no one could see me. Made me smile and happy. And sad that Crystal wasn’t here, laughing at me doing the dance.

So now, I’m just a little homesick. But still in a better mood than 30 minutes ago.

And it’s totally possible, that I’m the first person in TinyTown to walk down Main St, listening to the soundtrack. I surprised myself knowing almost all the words to the songs.

I rag on Rocky Horror for being the worst movie with the best soundtrack, but I’d give up everything I have to watch it with her this afternoon, curled up on the couch with the kitties.

It’s gonna be one of those days I think. The older I get, the less I want people to talk to me right after I wake up. Just say morning, and let me be. I slept all through the night. It wasn’t the best of sleeps, but it was better than the night before. Every time a bad dream started, my subconscious simply said no, and for a second I woke up, and rolled over and fell back asleep. I did have a strange dream where I worked on one of those televised car shows. That was interesting to say the least. They made fun of me a lot.

But, don’t expect to have a conversation with me as I’m making my coffee. It won’t happen. Like ever. I am not a morning person.

I think today, I’m gonna sit down with Netflix, and watch Twilight. We’ll see though. I haven’t decided yet. Let me just get through that first cup of coffee, and we’ll go from there.

It’s Friday, that means it’s Beat Bobby Flay on the Food Network. I like the show, because I like what Bobby cooks. And I have a short attention span, and it’s only a 1/2 hour long.

And the puns.

Quesadilla? Case closed.

I mean if I can’t cook full flavoured dishes here, I can at least watch someone cook with spices. I think when Crystal gets here, I’d love to make a spicy Shakshuka. Anything really. Just spicy!

Because, I’m starting to get tired of potatoes.

I’m not doing too bad here. Tired, but in a pretty good mood. The weather is helping. When I went out to get the weekly newspaper, it’s bright, no wind, and warm. Warm is good!

The coffee didn’t really help, so I’m drinking water. At least I’ll be hydrated, which is always good.

I love you, and I miss you.

I have died everyday, waiting for you

I’m not ever going to go to sleep early again. Bad dreams for a couple of hours. 9:40-3:30 wasn’t too bad, just a little warm. I went to the bathroom, and got something to drink. Back to sleep. That’s when the bad dreams started. I’m not going to go into details but it was not a fun 3 hours sleep. I hope it doesn’t affect my day. Right now, I’m just waiting for the coffee to finish brewing.

So yeah, I’d prefer not to dream for a few days.

It was a long day yesterday drove to SlightlyBiggerTown to get some groceries, and to check out some books. The books, while old, are still being sold full cover price. Mom said to check Amazon, and they’re 50% the price. So they’ll be ordered.

Then it was off to AnotherSlightlyBiggerTown to get the rest of our pellets for the wood stove. That went off without a hitch, and we were soon on our way to get actual groceries. That didn’t take too long and soon we were at home. From there I brought in the groceries, and spent the next hour or so, carrying in the pellets.

That last line.

It’s gonna be a long day, and there’s nothing at all planned. I hope the coffee helps with my mood. It’s rather melancholy. I have either a half hour or an hour to perfect my fake smile and enthusiasm for the rest of the day.

Good morning! Happy Thursday! It’s almost Pre-Friday! Almost. There. You can do it. It’s bright, sunny, and I assume somewhat chilly out there, because that’s what Canada does.

Today is gonna be a long day. Trips to two SlightyBiggerTowns. Each about 2 hours away, but it’s in a rather large loop, but it’ll still be a long day.

The German lessons are going pretty good so far. I unlocked level one yesterday, and I’m still in first place, but I know that’ll change, and I’m ok with that.

But for now, coffee. Happy Thursday!
