But maybe someday when my ship comes in she’ll understand what kind of guy I’ve been Shawshank, November 12, 2023 It’s dark, but the light is slowly filtering in through the clouds. I’m pretty sure I never moved last night. At least, I don’t feel like I did. I’m a little stiff and sore this morning, but that seems to be a pretty much normal start to each day now. Good morning my friends. It’s a new day, and that new day means that it’s chore day here. As you know, I’ll be starting that in a couple of hours. Chaucer, the big boy, just laid down on my lap. I don’t think he was on the bed with us this morning. I think Pippin was all curled up in her nest. Yesterday wasn’t too bad. I quickly ran to work to grab my meds and the rest of the mail that I totally forgot about in my rush to leave. I remembered it shortly after I got home. So I popped out and grabbed them. I also went to the gas station to pick up some snacks and a pack of gravy for dinner. Later on in the late afternoon, I attempted to make Sheppards pie. It was pretty good. Not what I had envisioned in my mind, but it was still edible. So that’s a bonus in my mind, even if it didn’t look like an instagram photo of Sheppards pie. We feasted. So here we are. Crystal has been up since 5, and I’m groggy from sleeping. I feel terrible for her, I don’t know why she’s waking up so early. I know how it is, your eyes just open and there you are – awake. I’m still optimistic, and tomorrow (it’s always tomorrow), she’ll sleep in. It never happens, but I hope that it will. Life blogbloggerchore daycoffeejournallazy SundaymorningsTinyTown
Life Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place where as a child I’d hide September 23, 2022 It’s three am, Pippin. I don’t care if you don’t come to bed. Just be quiet so I can sleep. Me, because I said it. At 3 am. Good morning my friends. It’s a gray, wet, rainy day here so far. As you can see from the quote above, Pippin… Read More
Life Can’t you see I need you so?Hold me close against your skin I’m about to begin November 28, 2023 Oh, hey. How’s it going? I survived day two. It was slower than yesterday, so we got to put out some deliveries. Three deliveries came in, and three deliveries got put out. BossLady also wanted some gip-rock moved, so we both did that, we’re now both hurting. But it’s now… Read More
Life Well, the road was hot and flat as a ruler good hundred miles between me and Missoula March 11, 2026 It snowed again, in the night. I’ll let that sink in. I believe all of us have, once again, been fooled by false spring. There’s usually 2-3 false springs. So yeah. Fucking false spring. A little bit of bad news yesterday. My gramma has passed away. Early yesterday morning my… Read More
