Here I am. Off work, and determined to not take a nap today. I think I slept just a little longer than normal, so I had a bit of a problem falling asleep last night. No, lemme rephrase that. I didn’t have a problem falling asleep. I shot awake, or twitched really hard, and then I was awake. It took me a little longer then to fall asleep.

So I’m home now, and I have the news on. And the yawning has started. It doesn’t help, that I can look over at Chaucer, and he’s curled right back up, and is sleeping. Pippin is perfectly loaded looking out the front window.

Other than that, nothing much is happening. We’re taking my mom out for dinner tonight. So tonight is our is our date night instead of tomorrow. Tomorrow, my mom is driving back up to CapitalCity to spring my dad out of the hospital. He just spent the last week, doing his first round of chemotherapy I believe. We probably won’t go over on Sunday, to let him rest up a little more.

So yeah, I wore the loud hoodie today. Only one person mentioned that I was very bright this morning. But then it got too warm to wear the hoodie, so I took it off. No one mentioned what my t-shirt said.

“My mom says I’m special.”

My mom noticed it right away, and said that I was special. Aww, thanks mom!

Anyways, work wasn’t too bad. It seemed like the time just flew by. Thankfully though, I’m home now. And I’m pretty tired. I think I might nap for a little bit.

A rare day off during the week appears!

Good morning everyone, it’s bright, it’s sunny, and more importantly- it’s not raining. I don’t think that there’s even a cloud in the sky. The cats are looking out the back door.

We went to bed a couple of minutes early last night. That was fine by me, I was starting to fall asleep watching TikToks. So we climbed into bed, where I immediately passed out. I did get up sometime in the night to go to the bathroom, but made it back into bed and fell right back asleep.

I was getting two schedules mixed up. I knew that today was a day off, but I was trying to figure out where an 8-4 shift factored into my schedule this week. It was stressing me out to the point that I almost got out of bed a handful of time to look at the schedule. But I didn’t. I swallowed the stress of not knowing, and looked this morning. The 8-4 shift is next week. Not this week.

Problem solved.

We only have a couple of things planned today. Crystal has an order of hair that should be here this afternoon. We’ll be heading to the second hand store. I have one or two items to drop off there, and we’ll pop over to Shady Acres to reset an old iPad.

And that’s the day. Would you like some more coffee? Yas Queen, I do want some more coffee.

Good morning, hap hap happy Monday. We’re all awake here, and there’s some pretty angry looking clouds out there this morning. There’s a chance that sometime today, there should possibly be some rain. I’ll believe it when I’m standing outside in the rain.

But for right now, it’s coffee time.

There weekend was really nice. We did the grocery thing, and the video game thing pretty much all weekend. I feel that the weekend was pretty good, but just a little too short.

Working the closing shift today. So I’ll be having lunch at the flat before going in. Which is ok, because I have the left over Chinese food from Saturday waiting for me to tuck into it.

I need to refill my coffee cup. I also need to get dressed. Mondays, am I right?!
