Sucking down Quarter Pounder cheeseburgers from McDonald’s

Here I am, I’m still alive. I just really needed to nap when I got home. I am sleeping well at night, but damn, I’m really not liking getting up early. I don’t mind either shift. I prefer getting out earlier, but I like to sleep in.

Work wasn’t too bad today. A bit slower than yesterday. But you can’t always hit them out of the park. And that’s ok. Wednesdays and Fridays are always hurry up and wait. Those are our grocery deliveries. The big boss usually gets to the store around 12:30, give or take. Today, he sent someone else, that pretty much rolled in around 1 today. So I gave it my all for 15 minutes. The other fifteen minutes were spent helping customers outside.

Tonight is taco night! We get to gorge ourselves with meat, cheese, sour cream and spicy sauce. I can’t wait. I was very excited when Crystal told that’s what we were going to have.

I get to do this wondrous stuff all over again tomorrow! Colour me excited!

Honking at the honey in front of you with the light eyes, she turn around to see what you beeping at

Oh yes, I have to post today. I got home from work this afternoon, and went right to bed to nap. As a surprise, Crystal came and napped with me. It was the world’s greatest nap, because of that. I know for a fact that I didn’t move. I’m a little stiff and sore for not moving in an hour and a half.

Work wasn’t too bad. Not busy whatsoever. We did some stocking and cleaning. I let NewGuy do all the running for the outside customers. He has energy, let him burn it off.

Having the day off yesterday, has really screwed me up day- wise this week. I’ll probably be a day behind until sometime next week. it’s all good. It’ll even itself out by the end of the week, as I’m working Saturday.

Woke up drunk at 10 am, we gon’ do this shit again

Good morning. I believe it’s gonna be hard to set the alarm to 4:30am. It’s been two weeks of getting up at a normal time. We’re up, and ready to greet the day. With coffee of course.

Happy Monday everyone!

It looks like it’ll be a somewhat nice day out there. The sun is up, and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of wind out there. It rained in the night. The roads and grass are damp. It looks good for the rest of the day, according to the weather app.

It’s been a nice weekend. All the chores have been completed m, and like I said, this is a bonus day. There’s no plans on my end. Crystal says she’s going to reinstall her hair. So I’ll figure out which show we’ll watch for the day. Either a rewatch of Bridgerton, or a rewatch of Outer Tange, since both have dropped new seasons. So we’ll figure out what to binge for the day.

Wings for dinner tonight. That’s the most planning that I’ve done for the day. Wings for me, and nuggets for the great one.

Ugh, work tomorrow.

But at least we have today.!

Break me off a piece of that KitKat bar

It’s bright and sunny. The birds are singing outside, and both cats are on the little table, looking outside. Staring directly into the sunrise. They are totally happy. It’s Sunday, and there’s no wind out there, just sun.

I slept like the dead. I think if I didn’t have the alarm set, I think I’d still be sleeping right now. I had some strange dreams. Nothing too crazy( but I think all the shows that we watched yesterday totally contributed to my dreams. I don’t remember them, I just feel that they were strange.

The shows we watched yesterday included: a couple of episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, then a couple of episodes of The X-Files, and then during dinner, it was an episode of Last Week Tonight.

It was the perfect storm of strangeness.

Dinner was two giant plates of nachos. The restaurant wasn’t open, due to some scheduling problems. And the nachos were huge. We ate our fill, and were couch locked for the rest of the night.

Rewinding a little, we drove to SlightlyBiggerTown in the morning. It was a little drizzly, and windy. But we made it and grabbed the food that we need for the next couple of weeks, hit up the pharmacy, and eventually made it to the local dispensary.

Crystal’s vape battery died less than a week after we bought it. So we were going to replace it, when Crystal asked if she could get me the vape box battery mod thing that I’d been looking at for a couple of weeks for an early birthday present. So that’s what we did.

I think that it was a pretty good Saturday. We made it home around the usual time, and then we feasted on our Subway sandwiches. It was a good day. a very good day. Def in the top ten of Saturdays w/ chores that I’ve had in a while. Of course now it’s Sunday, and the real chores are waiting to happen. That’ll be in a few hours. But first coffee.
