Good morning my friends, I trust y’all had a great sleep. Me? I slept like a baby. I pretty much greened out last night. I barely got through the night bathroom chores. I stripped off as I stumbled, and by the tone Crystal got into the bedroom, I was already 40% asleep.

So yeah, it didn’t take me long to fall asleep last night.

It snowed overnight, so there’s a dusting of snow on the ground. We did the second half of the Great Truck Swap. My parents pulled up to work around 2 yesterday afternoon. I went out and teased them, the truck was covered in snow and ice. When I put the truck in reverse a couple of hours later, every single rear sensor was going off. It was like it was telling me that I was too close to a wall.

So I grabbed a couple of tokens to the truck wash and with the help of a power washer, I cleaned off the ice and the salt off the truck. It was very satisfying. But of course, it’s still below freezing out there, so we’ll see how frozen the truck is today when I go to work.

Back to work today, and Friyay is getting closer. That’s my day off this week. Everybody’s workin for the weekend!

Good Monday morning everyone. Another gray day out there, the Flat is awake and we’re typing up our morning posts, while the talking heads talk on TV. Chaucer is slowly lowering himself down onto my lap, while Pippin wants up as well.

The laundry got taken care of yesterday, but I was just too lazy to do the rest of the chores. It was a weird work week last week. I worked every other day. And then today, boom, not a day off until Friday now.

The great truck swap happens today. My dad has to go to CapitalCity for some blood work, and their truck is huge, my mom finds it easier to park a smaller vehicle in the hospital lot, so they’ll be swapping trucks sometime today.

Canada chose a new leader of the Liberal party. Tabulating the votes took mere hours, and before dinner, the new leader has been voted in. Let’s see how he can stand up to the orange turdball south of The Wall. There should be an election coming up before October to see if the Liberal can keep the wave going, and form a majority government.

But for now, I have two kittens on me, and a half cup of coffee. Cats are gonna be annoyed. They’re gonna have to get up soon. Happy Monday!

It’s bright and sunny out there. Hopefully, it stays that way for the rest of the day. I’ve missed the sun, it’s been so gray for the last couple of weeks. And it doesn’t look like it’s too windy out there.

Yesterday was a long day all around. Up at 5. Got some coffee in me, and Crystal put some makeup on, and we were off to SlightlyBiggerTown. Our appointment was for 8am. By about 10:30, I’ve played Balatro on the Switch a couple of times, and made the leap, and purchased it on my phone.

Shortly after 11:00, the truck was given a clean bill of health, and we were outa there! We went grocery shopping, and grabbed all sorts of yummy food, then just a few more stops, and we were heading back to TinyTown.

Once’s we were at home, we consumed our Subway sandwiches, and I went up to work to grab a couple of things that I can get cheaper with my staff discount, and stopped at the post office to pick up my package that arrived. My mom ordered something as well so I grabbed that and she came down shortly after to pick it up.

It was a really nice day off, minus the couple of hours at the dealership, but it needed to be done, and now it’s all taken care of. Back to work this afternoon. It’s gonna be a good shift, because, the weather looks night out there.
