When I’m eastbound and down and I can’t help but cry ’cause I-40 gets lonelier with every mile

Oh yes! Podrick was a perfect gentleman this morning. He only jumped up on the night table once, and bolted as soon as I got out of bed. So I quietly closed the bedroom door, and climbed back into bed for another 45 minutes. Only when I was meant to get up, is when he started to pull at the door.

And now, here we are 🙂

Work was wicked slow yesterday. Plus we had a third person on with us. Because we were supposed to get two trucks. We got one, and the order was small, I got it done before the third person clocked in. What can I say? I like putting out freight. Other than that, we cleaned a little, and waited for the day to end.

Back to work this afternoon. Hopefully it’ll be another good day. I think there’s gonna be three of us again – due to having another truck tonight. So at least, either way we’ll be busy. And that’s a good thing for sure.

It’s getting cooler and cooler during the days now. Winter is coming, and I’m not impressed. But, there’s nothing that we can do about it. I might as well just accept the things I cannot change, right?

Pass the Dutchie ‘pon the left hand side

Good morning my friends. I hope y’all slept great. Mine was ok, the closer it got to our normal time to get up, Podrick was already at it this morning. He was a menace. Him and I aren’t talking this morning.

Yesterday was a really nice relaxing day. We watched some episodes of Yellowstone. I can appreciate the struggle now that I’ve seen the two prequel shows. And it’s neat seeing the same actors across all the shows.

We didn’t do too much. Well, I didn’t. Crystal, on the other hand, sewed up a kick ass apron. And, I believe that she finished it yesterday. I’m very proud of her. Her costume is going to look amazing. I can’t wait to see the whole thing on her. there’s murmurs of drip, and rizz.

Back to work this afternoon. A little bit of drama at work yesterday. I guess first shift checked in a truck, and then left it untouched for second shift to deal with it. So the guys weren’t all that happy yesterday afternoon. I’m happy that I missed all the drama, and just got some updates via text.

I hope all y’all have a great day.

I need coffee.

Can I get some fries with that shake-shake boobie?

I ignored Podrick this morning. Well, I tried to. The last half hour or so, in combination with a stuffed up face, I lightly slept. He pulled at the door for a little while, then I slept, but he was back again. I looked at the clock and it was later than yesterday, so I got up, and let Podrick into the bedroom. I picked him up, and gave him loves on the bed before I got dressed.

Yesterday we went over to Shady Acres, and I was up a ladder shortly after, to clean the chimney. Most people know that I’m not fond of heights, and this was the first time that I did it all by myself. I set the ladder up, and carried the tools that I needed. I was just about done, the battery in the drill died. I texted my father that I needed a new battery. I got one, and finished up. I did manage to get a nice panoramic of the sky line.

After that, we hung out and each played on our devices before dinner. My mom really liked her gift certificate to get her hair did, and her favourite snack. They’re in the process of going through all their stuff, and slowly getting rid of the stuff that they don’t want, or need.

After dinner, and desert we came home and fed the kittens, and got comfortable in the couch. I didn’t feel like watching Yellowstone, so I put on some cozy shows. We watched Jessica Fletcher solve some mysteries, and then Michael Knight, and KITT kick some ass.

The bed started to call us.

We went to bed, and woke up this morning.

You my lil’ suga, I’m yo’ little chulo

One day, Podrick will let me sleep in, like he used too. He got two good morning from me with full body and face pets, which he loved, then he did what he did to get booted out of the bedroom.

So we’re all awake now. Both have been fed, and The Beautiful One and I have coffee. I slept like the dead, but I think about half hour to 45 minutes more would have been very beneficial. But there we are, awake, and watching Dateline, until I find something better to watch.

Work wasn’t too bad. It was busy enough to keep us from sitting around. And it made the time pass relatively quickly. Before I knew it, it was time to get the hell out of there. So I came back to the Flat, and cooked lunch. I watched Crystal play Skyrim for a while then I put on Friday’s Smackdown. After that, we made dinner – nachos, fuckin yum!

We watched the NXT PLE – Halloween Havoc. They put on a really good show. We were both Sports Entertained. Except Ricky Saints. He’s a bag of douche. But that’s beside the point. Was a great show.

Chores soon. Shady Acres to surprise my mom with her birthday present a couple of days early, but I’m working on her birthday. So to day it is!

Ain’t got no picture postcards, ain’t got no souvenirs – my baby, she don’t know me when I’m thinking bout those years

Good morning. Er, afternoon. I’ve been up since 4:57, three minutes before my alarm went off. I don’t know why my body and mind don’t trust the alarm clock that I’ve had work flawlessly for 5 years. I’m either up a couple of hours early and sleep lightly, up minutes before, or the alarm clock scares the hell out of me when it goes off.

Weird.

Anyways, I had to open the shop this morning. As I’m getting the paperwork done and counting the cash, car pulls up, and the driver comes to the door. Pulls on it, and stares inside. I quietly knock on the window and point to the sign. He looks at it, and looks at me, confused. I open the door and say we don’t open for a half hour. He asks if he can pay at the pump. I shake my head and say no. He stares at me. I say we open in a half hour, smile, close, and lock the door. He sat in the parking lot until we were open.

Back home now. Pork bites in the oven, and wrestling to watch when Crystal is done kicking ass in Skyrim. It’s gonna be a relaxing do nothing day. Tomorrow; chores, and probably climbing up on a roof to clean the stove pipe.

And we’ll celebrate my mother’s birthday tomorrow!
