The Beautiful One let me sleep in. While she just had the lay there. I thank her for it, even though I tried at one point to take one of her pillows. But once I knew it was hers, I apologized in my sleep and quickly backed away, before I felt the might of her anger.

Just kidding. She doesn’t beat me.

She just leaves bruises.

Haha. I kid. But she was pretty awesome letting me sleep in a little. I didn’t think I’d sleep in almost another two hours. Wow! The sun is shining l, and while I haven’t looked at my weather app, but it’s supposed to be slightly warmer today.

I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER I HAVE TO LOOK AT THE WEATHER APP.

Well, not really. But that’s ok, we’re on a warming trend, starting tomorrow. Ha ha ha. Why does the warming always start tomorrow?

That’s cray cray I tell you.

Good morning everyone out there in the aether. It’s ya boi, Shawshank. Yep, we’re all awake here. I really didn’t want to get out of bed this morning, the bed was just so perfectly warm. I didn’t even care that Chaucer was giving a free concert somewhere in the Flat.

Work actually wasn’t too bad, once everyone figured out who was gonna work with me yesterday. I guess the coworker that I was supposed to work with called out sick, so it was a scramble to find a replacement. With a replacement found, we opened on time.

The rest of the day went pretty quickly. We were steady but never out of control busy. Time moved pretty quickly, and we were out of there minutes after we closed. I even remembered to grab supplies to eat dinner.

After I got home and dinner was consumed, we just watched tv and relaxed. We’re getting close to the end of Black Sails, I think we only have a few episodes left. The show is pretty good, however I really had hoped looking back, that they were more seafaring pirates and not just concentrating on one island. But it’s still entertaining.

Back to work today. It’s still cold out, but they’re saying it’ll really start to warm up this weekend. So there’s that. We just have to survive until the weekend.

Yep, I’m awake. It’s a holiday today, and I’m working it. Easy shift today, just like a Sunday one. So the day should go quickly. It’ll hopefully go quickly.

Yesterday was a bit of a shit show. I get a text from my mom as I’m prepping brunch, saying that unfortunately, she won’t be able to do a birthday dinner, as my grandmother is being taken to SlightlyBiggerTown to the hospital. So mom will be going there. I have a chore to do at Shady Acres so I head over to do the chore. I shut off the pellet stove, and say I’ll be back in a couple of hours.

My mom is trying to start my dad’s truck to go. The truck won’t start, so she takes her truck. My dad says to take my car home. I turn and tell him, I don’t have the keys, and it’s more than likely not going to start, and that it’s not a problem, I’ll walk home. So mom takes off, and I walk home.

I cook brunch, and watch some YouTube with Crystal, and walk back up to clean the pellet stove. As luck would have it, I didn’t actually turn off the stove when I thought I had. I do a very quick cleaning. I help get a battery charger on the big truck.

Long story short: I ended up going to Shady Acres like three times yesterday. But I’ll probably find out how my grandmother is doing today or tomorrow.

When I wasn’t up at Shady Acres, it was a mostly relaxing day off. Let’s see what today will bring.

Still working on the whole AI image generator. I’m still figuring out the best prompts. This one was a work in progress. When you ask for MTG to look more “unhinged”, Grok doesn’t know what to do, fyi.

I remember every little thing as if it happened only yesterday

Good morning party peoples. That’s right everyone, it’s the lords motherfucking day! Get turnt! I digress. But yes, it is Sunday, and that means it’s also chore day here. So I a little while, chores shall be started.

Nothing much happened after work. I came home and posted my post, and watch Crystal play Fire-Figher Simulator for the afternoon. It’s a fun game to watch, but I really think the makers of the game relied on fire way too much in the battle sections.

We had a really good dinner of strips of ghetto chicken on buns for chicken sandwiches, and tater tots. Both were really good, and we ate our fill.

So today I’ll be doing chores, and I’ve been lazy completing them all, so I’ll make sure that I do them all today. But they’ll get done. Then we’ll be off to Shady Acres where I’ll have to haul 15, 50lb down into the basement.
