I can’t do pictures, I’m too busy, I don’t deal with the press

I’ve been up since 5 this morning. I wanted to sleep until my alarm went off, but alas, earwax – it never happened. I rolled out of bed and started my day.

It’s cold out. This morning was -28°C out there with the wind. I’m still dressed in layers and am shivering. It’s a nasty, but nicely sunny out. Sadly, the sun isn’t warming much of anything out there.

I don’t know what I’m gonna do this afternoon. I’ll probably play some Persona later, after Crystal’s YouTube show is over.

Back to work all day tomorrow. Hopefully it’ll go quickly, and without any major problems. Sundays are always long 8.5 hour days, and you have to do the opening and closing paperwork. But, yeah, it’ll be a day for sure.

But for today, thankfully nothing that needs to get done. I’ll do laundry on Wednesday when I’m off.

I’m awake. I slept like the dead last night. I only got up once in the night to use the bathroom. But until shortly before I woke up, no matter what position I was in, it was a comfortable position. Until just before I woke up, that’s when my nose decided that no matter how I was sleeping, I couldn’t breathe.

We’re under weather warnings here for extreme cold. Yay. Who doesn’t love extreme cold? I live for extreme cold. Not really. It’s mean that I have to dress in layers. It looks like we just have to make it until Wednesday. Then it starts to warm up again.

We’re all on the couch this morning. Chaucer is in between us, and the youngster Pippin, is camped out on my shins. Both will be annoyed when I get up for more coffee, and to use the bathroom.

I don’t think that we have anything planned for today. I’m sure that we’ll both play some Persona 5 Royal sometime today. We’re both working on the last palace. I’m trying so hard to move slowly and get everything. Trying to savour the last remnants of what’s left.

Ok, time to annoy the cats by getting up. Happy Friyay my friends. Does Friday still matter, when you work the weekend? I don’t know. Either way, it’s the end of the week, we made it!

I’m crossing my fingers, and counting every kiss

Good afternoon everyone. How’s 2025 treating y’all so far? Me? Up at the ass crack of dawn, 15 minutes before the alarm went off. I didn’t want to over sleep, so I rolled out of bed and started the day.

I was warned last night. Lemme back that up. I got a text from BossLady asking if I’d change my closing shift to an opening shift, as the opener called out sick. I said no problem. Immediately, the guy that closed on New Year’s Eve texted, and warned me the store was a complete mess as groceries came as they were starting to close the store.

The back room was unkempt.

But we had everything cleaned up shortly after the store was opened. The morning was really slow, but started to pick up as we were getting ready for the next shift to take over.

Now I’m finishing this post and we’re gonna head out to the second hand store to see if anything is tickling our fancy.

Should old acquaintance be forgot

Happy new year everyone! Happy new year. The Beautiful One let me sleep in a little bit. Which is much appreciated. I was sleeping on a skinny pillow as my neck is still paining me. It helps a little but it still really hurts. I slept wicked wrong the night before. My body is falling apart.

We didn’t do too much of anything last year. I was getting tired of the really small loop for the news yesterday, so I put on Knives Out. What a good mystery. I think I enjoyed it the second time as much as the first time.

Then we played Persona 5 Royal. I’ll be doing another post about that possibly later today. With pictures, twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one. We both battled the same enemy yesterday. And we were both successful.

Today, we’ll probably play some more Persona 5 Royal today. I’ll be heading back to work tomorrow. So it’ll be a nice relaxing day here I’ll be making wings, and yeah, it’ll be a nice day.
