And then I saw her face, now I’m a believer and not a trace, of doubt in my mind

Good morning my friends. The sun is bright, and the breeze is cold. We’re looking of a high of just over 70° this fine day. I awoke having strange dreams. We were looking for something, and like in the movies we had to form a super group. That’s all I can remember. It wasn’t a sad or depressing dream, it felt funny, and light. Strange!

Well we’re up and the coffee has been brewed, and Chaucer has thrown up. So it’s a pretty normal day here so far. I think that Pippin is on the table at the back door. She likes to get her morning sun.

Yesterday at work was kinda crazy. I told Crystal it felt like an 8 hour day was squished into a 3 hour morning. BossLady was feeling very stressed, and I tried to help as much as possible. I was happy when her consult came in. I could breathe a sigh of relief.

She had a mountain of papers on her desk. And had just today to clear them as much as she could. She’s off to Montreal this morning for a couple of days. So yeah she was a little crazy, but that’s to be expected.

I took off at lunch, and came home. We made liverwurst sandwiches. I remembered to grab a bag of chips to supplement the sandwiches. Lunch was wicked good. We packed up what Crystal sold, and dropped it off at the post office, and then popped over to the second hand store. Crystal found some fleece and very quickly put together a pair of pants. She says they’re very warm, and they look very snuggly.

I slept pretty good last night. Crystal on the other hand, didn’t really sleep that great. I think at the kittens were on the bed this morning. I have to remember to fix my alarm clock today. For some reason, it’s like 20 minutes slow. I don’t know why I set it like that, way back when. Now, it’s just annoying.

With this very unpleasin’, sneezin’ and wheezin’

Good sunny morning people. I slept pretty ok. It was just a rocky start. About 12ish, I woke up coughing. I tried rolling over, and that didn’t work. I was so afraid of waking up Crystal, I quietly slid out of bed, went to the bathroom, blew my nose, and got something to drink. Just before I climbed back into bed, I grabbed a cough drop. Got back into bed, and tried to get as close as possible to Crystal, and went back to sleep.

Then the alarm went off.

And here we are. Bright and early Tuesday morning. I woke up when the alarm went off, and I really hoped it was Monday morning. I can see by the gif that Crystal is posting, she didn’t sleep well at all. That’s my fault. No matter what she says, I’m pretty sure I kept her up.

Yesterday was pretty good. I was a little down because of the weather. But we had a kick ass brunch, and Crystal spent a good half hour to 45 minutes making an absolute pile of waffles. Normal sized ones. When I made them before yesterday, I only made the standard “order”. Yesterday I mixed up a double batch so Crystal can have normal sized waffles.

But yeah, we didn’t do too much yesterday at all. We took turns playing the Switch. That’s literally it. It was in my mind a great sloth day. I don’t know if I’ll be working the whole day or if I’m a half day jay. I’m sure we’ll figure that out pretty quick.

Moar coffee pls.

Hit me with the horns Tony

It’s like god, and the baby jeebus forgot to turn on the lights this morning. It’s a dim, cool, and wet morning here in TinyTown. It’s definitely sweater weather today.

Once again, the weekend flew by, and we’re on the last the day of the weekend. The weekend always goes a lot faster than the week days. So today is a sloth day with one exception – I have to run to the grocery store, because when we went shopping on Saturday, I mentioned that we can have burgers Monday evening, and then we completely forgot to get hamburger buns.

Since it’s so cool, Chaucer is already between us trying to stay warm. I try and tell him that you’re covered in fur, you should be somewhat warm. But he’s not. He has to get in between us to stay warm. On the other hand, Pippin is sitting I front of the open back door, just soaking up the cool morning air.

Other than the grocery run sometime today, there’s nothing really planned. Well that’s a lie, we quickly talked about me playing TotK, and having Crystal nap on the couch. After brunch, of course.

So yeah, it’s a vey crisp, cool day here so far. It’s not supposed to climb too far out of the 60s today. Brr!

With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin’ kinda older

Good morning my friends. When the alarm went off this morning, I didn’t want to get out of bed. For me, the bed was just the perfect temperature. But I dragged myself out of bed, because the kittens needed to be fed, and the coffee needed to be brewed.

After work yesterday, we hopped in the Hot Mess Express and popped over to SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries. We found just about everything on the list. We forgot a couple of things that weren’t on the list, but it’s livable without those items.

Nothing out of the ordinary while we were there. The store wasn’t too busy which is always nice. I think we were in and out in about a half hour or 45 minutes. Not too bad if you ask me. After we loaded the HME, we popped over to Dairy Queen for a quick bite to eat, as we were both starting to get really peckish.

And of course, when we got home, we put all the groceries away. Then Crystal fired up the Switch. She had come up with a plan. I think it was a double cross, or a triple cross. I don’t know, but it work. She successfully played both sides for a quest in Skyrim. I was totally amused and impressed that she managed to pull it off. I didn’t even think you could do that!

After she played, I got a turn. I fired up TotK. I think I figured out why I’m not too fond of Skyrim (which I’m really trying to like), there’s too much involved on the back end of the game. So much crafting, alchemy, and all that. Then there’s all the options every time you level up. I know, I know, if I want to play other RPGs that I claim to really like, I’ll have to get used to and figure out which builds I want. in Skyrim, you can build your character to be anything you want. Any build. Wield any weapon. That’s a lot of options!!

Course, all I see on my Google Discovery is all about Starfield. I know it’s done by the same people that made Skyrim. It’s not even available on the switch, and probably never will, lol but I would like to try it. But I digress.

So anyways, I fired up TotK. I didn’t have a plan, but I explored a little bit of the Depths. I found some more light roots, and a couple of new clothes, but I didn’t actually achieve too much. But like Skyrim, this is TotKs bread and butter. I’m closer to the end game than the beginning, so I can just wander around and do quests things, or in the case of yesterday, just exploring.

Happy Sunday y’all!
