(3/23/20 cont.)
So, I have about 30 minutes before the last lock down, so I’m going to go and read for a bit. It’s a new book called One Good Turn by Kate Atkinson. Looked pretty good. I tell you tea or nay tomorrow. spanks you. I hope that you have an excellent sleep my love. Dream of me, as I dream of you. Dream of us camping in Grasslands. You, me, naked with 2 pissed off, scared cats, in an SUV. 100% pure romance. I love you so very much baby

Oh. My. God. They just called Gene Velicenti “Mr. 401”! Also, good AM babygirl! Hope you slept well. I did I think. Only got woke up once at 12:20 because the cleaners were still “cleaning”. I just peed, and crashed again till 7. Maybe today I’ll get my shoes. If I see him, I’ll remind him today. If not, I’ll put the reminder through the kiosk. I still cant believe they called him Mr. 401. That’s simply amazing for sure.
I think today will be the day everything runs late. We’re still in our rooms. Breakfast should’ve been 40 min ago. It just got here 10 min ago. Hell in a hand basket I tells you. You’ll be proud of me, new books came in, and I returned 4 (including vol 1 + 2 Game of Thrones) before I took more books There’s only 2 books in my pile that I’ve read before; a Sue Grafton – T is for Trespass, and The Fellowship of the Ring. The rest are new to me.
And I hope I won’t let the bastards grind me down today.
I’m 51 pages into “One Good Turn” and I have no idea what’s going on yet. I don’t know if that’s a good thing, or a bad thing. I think I’ll keep with it for a little while longer.
I GOT MY SHOES! WOOT!
They feel weird. But strangely familiar and comfortable. Me and my feet are very happy right now. And let me tell you, they look ridiculous – red + white, and I’m dressed in all yellow!
I’m now on page 215, and still have no idea what’s going on. I’m enjoying it, I think! The characters are good. I just don’t really know the story line yet. lol. I decided. NO MORE! I can’t figure out what’s going on, so I simply closed the book. I shall return it when I get let out. Maybe someone else here will like a Scottish mystery, with intertwining plots and characters.
For the first time in a long time, I don’t feel like I need to take a nap after lunch. It’s actually nice to be able to keep my eyes open. Lunch was supposed to be tacos, but turned into ziti with meet sauce, shred lettuce, and two slices of white bread, and a dry piece of cake. Filling, but not great.
I’ve always thought Converse weren’t comfortable at all, and Chinese knock-offs even less so. I’ve been wearing these for a few hours now and they are very comfortable. So much more than the shoes they gave me here. They’re even cheaper Chinese knock-offs, but with velcro! Yeah, they’re not worth the plastic they’re made with. And now my shower shoes can be just for the shower. (and maybe breakfast.) I really can’t believe how happy these shoes made me today. I almost feel outgoing. Almost! Managed to score another four envelopes as well.
Just listened to a little bit of the news this morning. Really just enough to hear about what’s happening in RI. Mostly about the National Guard at the airport, and how RI is up to (as of 7am) 106 cases. I think a lot of us in here just feel powerless, ad overwhelmed when we watch the news.
Commisary came on the day it was supposed to! Since I’ve been here, it’s always been a day late. So I got stamps (!!) and coffee, and ramen! I’m just impressed that it came early. Wasn’t expecting that at all. Everything’s coming up Millhouse! I’ve looked at what’s for dinner 4 times today, and I can never remember what it is. It must not be too exciting if I can’t remember it, right?
I love you very much
Dinner was ok. I know I’ll be snacking on ramen around 8 or so. It’s been a prety good day here. The shoes really raised my spirits. I was very surprised they did so much for me. Did you know that I go to sleep every night thinking of you. The last couple of nights it’s been thoughts about us camping in Grasslands. In my dreams, I have a truck, a 80’s or 90’s F150. In the Grasslands, were in the back of it, just staring up in the sky, looking at all the stars. It’s very romantic. I go to sleep with a smile on my face every night. And it’s the first thing I think about in the morning too, you know to carry on the smile for a long as possible.
Before I started this page, I addressed the envelope you know so when I finished, BOOM! Mailed right away! Which is what I’m gonna do right now!
I love you very much
