You look like an angel, walk like an angel Shawshank, March 30, 2025 All I have to do is survive just one little 10-6 shaft at work. Well technically it’s 9:30-6:15, and then I’ll be on two glorious days off. It’s been a long week, but we’re just about across the finish line. I can do this. The alarm clock ripped me out of a quiet slumber this morning. Causing me to get out of a perfectly warm bed, to pull on cold clothes. But I’m slowly warming up, and Pippin is lending her body heat to warm me up too. She’s snuggled in my legs. Work went a lot better yesterday than Friday. The time was moving at a normal pace, and really before we knew it, it was time to close up and get the heck out of there. It was a little busier than Friday as well, but it was very manageable. I just can’t wait for 6pm to get here. Chicken fajitas, and the couch is calling me. Plus snuggling with the Beautiful One is always on my list. She’s the greatest. Viva la Sunday! I gotta make the work truck somewhat presentable for the parade. The decorations are a little sparse but that’s ok. It’ll be a good parade. But first lots of coffee and practicing… Read More
Life I was lying on the grass of Sunday morning of last week January 11, 2021 It’s going to be a good day. Even though minutes after I woke up, I had to have conversations with my mom. I can’t talk in the morning when I’m not awake. Please don’t talk past the “good morning” greeting please. I can’t form words beyond that. But I have coffee. I passed right out… Read More
