You know there ain’t no wrong way to drive my crazy crazy Shawshank, May 19, 2026 All the motherfucking snow is gone. Woohoo! Ding dong, the witch is dead! Hopefully that’s the last time I see snow for at least 3 months please. I don’t want to see it. I have the back door open and the kitchen window wide open. It’s nice not to have to wear a sweater when I get up* It’s day two of two days off, and we don’t have too many plans. Crystals package should be arriving this morning, so I’ll pop over to the post office once her notice comes in, and grab it. Then before bringing it back to The Flat, I’ll drop off my parents mail, then back to The Flat. Later on this afternoon, there’s a pretty good chance that we’ll head over to the second hand store to see if anything jumps out at us. And I’ll leave the back door open for the kitties. They love to watch the world go by from their table. Ugh. Back to work tomorrow afternoon. But, burgers for dinner tonight. I need to get up right now and take them out of the freezer so they’re thawed before dinner tonight. No one wants to cook frozen burgers. I just rolled out about 5 minutes before the alarm went off. We’re still in the midst of the heat wave. But don’t worry, it’s a dry heat. Man,… Read More
Life Say, Candy and Ronnie, have you seen them yet? January 31, 2021January 31, 2021 *yawn* morning. It took a lot of effort to actually drag myself out of bed this morning. The alarm went off, I shut it off, and curled back up. I think I fell asleep for five minutes. When I woke up, I didn’t know what time it was. I didn’t… Read More
