You know I’m in love with an uptown girl, my uptown girl Shawshank, July 27, 2025 Before I even knew what I was doing, I kicked Podrick out of the bedroom this morning. He was chasing his tail in between us on the before probably around 4:30-5am. So out her went, and I was back asleep pretty quickly. The rest of the Flat didn’t look too bad this morning. I guess over stimulated rage can’t be contained by overwhelming tiredness. I’m guessing that Pod fell asleep after playing a little. Only a couple of things were knocked over. I consider that a win for sure. Back to work for an all day shift – the Sunday shift. One of my coworkers hates working Sundays. He doesn’t like to open and close on the same day. He says it’s too much work. Le sigh. I don’t mind Sundays, as you open the door at 10am, before you know it, it’s noon, then 3 pm, and it’s time to start getting ready to close. Then, BOOM! It’s closing time. And scene. But first, I need to get coffee in me, and a shower, so I don’t stink up the place. And maybe if I’m lucky, snuggles from a cat. Happy Sunday my friends. I was up around five, and got up to go to the bathroom. I came back in and fell back asleep. It was a light slightly tossy turny. It was a light sleep… Read More
Playing with the queen of hearts August 19, 2020 It’s morning here again. It’s gone up 3 degrees in an hour, and is supposed to be as hot as it was yesterday. I slept on top of my blankets all night, and was very comfortable for the evening. I didn’t even need to put a t-shirt on, just a… Read More
