When the lights go down in the city

Shawshank, August 7, 2025

The troubles started when I woke up early this morning. I had lost my mask, so I improvised. I go to the bathroom, and that’s when I woke up Podrick. I climb back into bed, and try to go back to sleep. I think I might have even for a minute or two. He was in full Podrick form this morning. He really was pissing off Crystal. The last straw was he got into a cabinet. Crystal flew out of bed. A few minutes later, after trying to get Pippin to snuggle, I figured it was time to start the day.

Day started.

I think Podrick and Pippin are actually sitting together on the table at the back door. I don’t want to get up to check, because that’ll remind Podrick that there’s other people in the Flat, so I’ll let him think that he’s the king here. The next time I’ll get up is after this, to refill my coffee.

Yesterday, was really nice. I didn’t do shit. I did a quick meal prep for today and tomorrow’s lunches. Other than that, we just played Nier Automata all day. We’re almost in the same spot, I’m just a couple of big fights behind the Beautiful One. Crystal made a gorgeous, and tasty curry last night. We feasted and watched NXT. After the wrestling, I put on a couple of National Geographic for the rest of the night.

And now here we are. I believe it’s Thursday my dudes. So yeah, it’s another day.

More coffee pls.

She’ll forever hold a spot inside my soul

December 15, 2022

Good morning my friends. Yesterday around 1:30 it’s started. The snow. The snow fell until about midnight or so. In total, about 11.4 cm of snow fell, with another 18mm is expected today. I shoveled the lanai, and the concrete pad. Next time I go out, I’ll do the rest…
