The thing about a small town, word’s gonna get around Shawshank, May 31, 2026 Good morning, my super friends. It’s a breezy, gray day out here in TinyTown. Podrick is in rare form this morning. He’s been doing Podrick things all morning. I don’t know what time it was, but I believe it was earlier than when the feeder went off. I had to get up to use the bathroom, and to fix Pippin’s bed that in their chasey chasey game was knocked down. Then when the mask was finally off this morning, the toilet paper, I told Crystal, was a little damp. So she did the only right thing: open the closet, and got a fresh roll. So last night, after just a minute of confusion, we watched the Triple AAA Noche De Los Grandes live on YouTube. Crystal was telling me some of the comments saying that WWE gave away the best match of the year for free on YouTube. And to that I say, they away a lot of amazingly awesome matches on YouTube for free. AAA has been putting on some of the best matches for a long time. The three other matches were great as well. All had really good pacing. But the main event was the penultimate match of the evening. El Grande Americano vs. Original El Grande Americano: Mask v. Mask. It was a really night day, we got up and did our usual morning things. After we were dressed, we got up, and drove into SlightlyBiggerTown for some much needed supplies. We didn’t have to stop at half the stores we usually do. But it was a special day in town. See all the small towns in the area do town-wide garage sales. Well, it was SlightlyBiggerTown’s day for it. So there were a lot of people around, and even better: the second hand store was open. We did the second hand store, stopped quickly in the hardware store to check on something for Crystal. Then we walked across the parking lot and did our grocery shopping. Thanks to the TWGS, the store was packed, and spoiler alert: we’ll find out shortly, that Subway will be just as busy. After standing in line for what seemed like forever, we got out sandwiches, and we were back in the truck, and I pointed it in the general direction of TinyTown, and we were off and running back home. We got home and mostly put away the groceries. I still have to sone away, I think. But we ate and relaxed for an hour or so, and then we headed over to Shady Acres for my birthday dinner. Y’all already know why we’re having it early. Long story short, I got a brand new Roku stick for my birthday, and new tea towel. We stuffed ourselves with roast pork, and strawberry shortcake (not at the same time), and after I think my parents for the presents, we headed back to The Flat, and settled in with an episode of Grey’s Anatomy? Then it was time for Triple AAA, and this post has come full circle. I am a master story teller. Life blogbloggerchore daycoffeejournallazy Sundaymorningspersonal blogTinyTown
Life … Boom, boom, boom, boom I want you in my room January 11, 2022 Good morning Tuesday, TinyTown says hello! We’re slowly waking up here. It’s dark, and a heck of a lot warmer. Just windy outside. We’re both on the couch, sippin coffee. I’m heading back to work today. Least when I’m walking in, I won’t be freezing. Haha Yesterday was a busy day. We went to SlughtlyBiggerTown… Read More
Life So throw on the black dress and mix in with the lot October 7, 2020 It’s always hard writing this as I wake up, plus it’s getting harder and harder to think of things to write about when nothing really happens here. Lots of change happening back home, the house is really starting to empty out. Even more so in a couple of days. Soon Crystal will be packing up… Read More
Life Sundown in the Paris of the prairies August 1, 2020August 1, 2020 Another day done. About the only thing I really did today was walk down to the grocery store to pick up the local newspaper. It comes out every Friday, but I was actually busy yesterday and didn't have the time to pick it up before the town rolled up the sidewalks. That's Main St, by the… Read More
