I can’t sleep ’cause my bed’s on fire

Hey hey, bitches. It’s ya boi, Shawshank. Fresh off a 7 hour shift with GenAlpha. It was a slow, but steady morning. It’s grad weekend, so it just started to get busy as I was leaving – all my morning tasks complete.

The cats, are well, fucking cats today. I had to deal with GenAlpha all morning, now I have to deal with this cats tearing up the place. It was nice when I woke up, Podrick snuggled against me as Pippin slept on the toilet organizer.

They “snuggled”

Home now. Relaxing for a while, some tube steaks in the pot on the stove. Tonight, Money in the Bank WWE pay-per-view. It’s mindless, and Crystal and I make fun of the wrestlers.

He weighs almost 50 pounds and he delivers my paper on time

Here I am. All awake, like I planned it. I slept until the alarm. Podrick is up with me, running around. I don’t know if it was a dream or not, but at one point I woke up, and I had one of Crystal’s pillows. I don’t know if I actually did, but in my half awake haze, I got rid of it. I tried to put it above us, so if she woke up, she’d find it.

I might have been dreaming.

I don’t know what to write. It’s hard coming up with stuff that’s new, when I was up at this time as well yesterday. Work wasn’t too bad. I cleaned most of my shift. I’ll probably be doing the same thing today. But you can never know for sure.

I need coffee. Happy Thursday y’all!

I’m the smiling face on your TV

Good morning. It’s a chilly bright day out there this morning. It’s that part of spring where it’s still freakin cold first thing in the morning. But we’re dealing with it, by dressing in layers.

Yesterday was a really nice day. We went to SlightlyBiggerTown town to check out the second hand store. I got a pillow, and Crystal got a few items. We stopped at A&W for a quick lunch and then we were back at The Flat. I played some Balatro. I’m trying to beat the Green Deck.

I didn’t beat the Green Deck. But I tried. While I was trying, Crystal and Podrick took a nap beside me. I made very delicious burgers for dinner, and then we watched true crime on Netflix until it was just about bedtime.

Twas a good day. Working a swing shift today and tomorrow. I’ll be home while it’s still light out. That’s a nice thing for sure.

Herc was on a roll person of the week in evry Greek opinion poll

Good morning. I have Pippin curled up on my chest, and Podrick is curled up by my ankles. He’s snuggling then chasing his tail. Now he’s further up my lap. They’re getting along so far. Pippin is relaxed and purring. So far Podrick is just relaxing and cleaning himself.

We went to the local high school last night, and watched the play that the grade 10, 11, and 12th grade art classes show. Lemme tell you they put on a really good show. I was entertained, and I couldn’t have done what they did. Good for them. And it was a full house. Only a couple of chairs were empty.

Up early today for a mid shift. But surprisingly enough, Podrick is slowly falling asleep on my lap, and Pippin is still up in my arms. Happy Friyay everyone!

The meat carved was drawn from succulent juices

Good afternoon! I’ve been up since 5 this morning, when my alarm scared the shit out of me. I managed to shut it off, but accidentally turned on the second alarm, which went off around 6. At that point, Podrick had already been in the bedroom terrorizing Crystal while she tried to sleep. So she was up and getting dressed when I went in to shut the alarm off.

I worked this morning, and struggled to remember how to open the store while at the same time trying to instruct a new hire on how to open. But we managed to get the store open, and I managed to get the extra Saturday stuff completed before we opened. We opened on time, and a regular came in as soon as we opened – needing change. He had 3 $100 bills. I told him he’s my first customer, we literally just opened, there’s no way I can give you change without totally depleting my entire drawer.

Pippin and Podrick are slowly starting to get along. They still play the chase game, taking turns on who’s chasing who. But she’s holding her ground, and yesterday we watched Pippin get him in a headlock, and turned letting him go from the mid point on the cat tree. It was hilarious the expression on her face – pure boredom.

With my dad in the hospital getting a hip replacement my mom is alone, and she wanted to know what we wanted for dinner on Sunday. Crystal, using advance calculus and logic determined it’s easier for us to cook for an extra person than it would be for my mom to cook for two extra people. So we invited her over for dinner. We’ll be making homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs. I picked up a pie from work for desert.

So I’m doing laundry today, so I can do some cleaning for tomorrow. We’re not feral, the house is say 80-89% clean. I just need to do a few more things, as I was lazy last week and didn’t really do anything other than laundry.

Fun times huh?
