Up in the mountains or down by the ocean

Good morning my friends. I got up a little early today. I’ve been up on and off for a couple of hours. I’ve peed trice this morning. I was a little tossy turny, but it wasn’t too bad. And I was able to ignore the children playing in the bed room.

But yeah, I got out of bed a little early. I figured that it might be a little better if I did that, as the alarm will be set today, for a very early wake up call tomorrow.

Christmas Day went off without a hitch. We had Christmas dinner with my gramma for lunch yesterday. The old folks home does a really good job on the turkey lunch. Just a couple questionable items on the plate; including turnips.

After lunch Crystal and I split away from my mom, and came home while my mom went home, and took a nap. We went to The Flat, and wrapped the presents for my parents. We got to Shady Acres and I was the one tapped to pass out the presents. I got a robe, and a couple of pairs of jeans, which were desperately needed.

After Christmas dinner, we packed up the Hot Mess Express with our Christmas gifts, and a bag full of leftovers, and drove back to our place where we had a low-key evening, and eventually went to bed.

Happy Boxing Day everyone. Don’t forget to get your servants a present.

Of course he brought his new wife Kay, who talks all about AA, chain smoking while the stereo plays “Noel, Noel, The First Noel”

Good morning everyone. Merry Christmas, from me, and mine to you and yours. We hope that y’all have a great day with friends and family. We’ll be heading out to Christmas lunch with my parents and grandmother in a couple of hours.

As a holiday tradition, I bought some Baileys yesterday afternoon, so we could help spread Christmas cheer today. Currently it’s mixed into our morning coffee. Yummy!

We have little to nothing planned for today other that lunch at the old folks home with my gramma, and then around 3, we’ll head over to Shady Acres for Christmas dinner. So we’ll hang out here until it’s time to info out into the arctic.

During that time, we’ll watch White Christmas.

It’s the night before Christmas today. We’re up and about this fine morning. Chaucer is in between us, I can feel his purring.

Nothing really on deck to update y’all about. I spent the better part of 4 or 5 hours trying to and massively failing to clear the palace that I was working on in Persona 5 Royal. So I figured that I would just grind my little ass off. Finally around 5:30, I managed to finish the palace. Now I’m just picking up the pieces and weather the storm of the aftermath.

So we’ll figure some of that out this morning/afternoon. Because I’m sure that I’ll play it today. I’m thinking that this is the endgame now. Is it bad that I’m thinking replay already because I think that I could do things differently. I haven’t heeded the loading screen of “take your time”. And of course, now that I know what I’m doing, I’d do a whole bunch of stuff differently.

Not too much planned for today. We’ll see if the second hand store is open, if it is, we’ll check it out. If it isn’t, I have to get some more cheese, so we’ll probably stop up at work, to grab some. Pizza for dinner tonight.

So deck those halls, trim those trees, raise up cups of Christmas cheer

I really didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. I was very snuggly. I tried to snuggle The Beautiful One, but the way she lays when she’s watching her TikTok’s, is pretty much impossible to snuggle her. But I tried anyways.

Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. It was busy in the morning, and as the day went on, it slowed down a little. By the time we arrived at closing time? It had pretty much fallen off. But we got what needed to be done.

But now I’m on some days off, which are really nice. I’ll pop out to the tiny grocery store to see if they have any poinsettias. If they do I’ll get one for my grandmother for Christmas. I don’t want to, and can’t afford to get her a drawer full of sugar free candy.

But it’ll be chore day here today. And a massive fight in Persona 5 Royal. It took Crystal most of the day yesterday to finally beat the boss. So I’m definitely not looking forward to the fight. I’m gonna change to easy, before the fight. Hopefully it won’t take me 5 hours.

Fingers crossed.
