Good afternoon, bitches. Finally home. I was up at the ass-crack of dawn, so I could be at work at o’dark thirty to open up the shop. My coworker was late, because he thought we opened at 10am. Technically, he was only 5 minutes late.

I got the store open very quickly – before he even got there. Once he was there I did the extra jobs that need to get done on Saturday mornings, and then suddenly, we were open.

Nothing.

Finally, some people showed up and it was pretty much people coming in and out all morning. But, it was a very slow morning. We cleaned a little, put some stock out and did all the things that are required to keep a store running smoothly.

Oh, I beat another deck yesterday! And then unlocked a brand new deck. New things for this deck means I have to change up my strategy. No problemo. I got this. Later, cause wrestling is on right now.

So it was a combination of things this morning that caused me to be up at the ass-crack of dawn. I couldn’t breathe, my nose was leaking, Podrick, I was very warm, Podrick, I lost my mask, I couldn’t get comfortable and breathe at the same time. You know, the usual stuff. Oh, and Podrick. Yeah for the most part, Podrick is a morning cat. I don’t know what caused him to be up so early. It was probably me getting up and flailing looking for my mask, then getting up and going to the bathroom probably did it. Hopefully Pippin starts to beat the shit out of Podrick more and more, because him running this house isn’t natural.

So yeah, happy day off! Let’s get up as early as fucking possible, so tomorrow, I can once again get up at the ass-crack of dawn to go to work. It’s gonna be fucking awesome! Woohoo! But we have coffee, and in like 4ish hours, we’ll head out to SlightlyBiggerTown for some supplies. and to get away from the orange menace for just a little while. I made the shopping list last night at work, and while The Beautiful One puts on makeup, I’ll pop up to work to get what I can with my discount.

I think we have Podrick engaged with something now – soda cap. He loves those. Happy friyay all!

Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty

It was a warm ass night last night. It got hot in the morning, and stayed hot as the afternoon turned to evening. Crystal commented on how hawt it was, so I brought home some ice cream on a stick. When it was time to retire for the evening, it was just as warm in the bedroom, as it was in the living room. Podrick was being an asshole and was getting into places where he shouldn’t. Thankfully after the second time, he either settled down, or I fell asleep. I slept mostly on top of the blankets. I got up sometime in the night, and used the bathroom, and it was a little cooler.

While I slept, I don’t think I moved too much. I’m a little stiff and sore. But that’ll go away as I wake up and move around. Back to work this afternoon. It shouldn’t be as warm today, as yesterday. Only a high of 80°. Yesterday it was also very humid out. It was like walking into soup; breathing wise. It wasn’t nice going from AC to soup, to AC again. Work was pretty slow yesterday. The 1st shift people were saying that it was crazy busy.

So let’s get this day started. The sun is shining, the humidity is humidifying, the coffee is hot, and of course the kittens are being kittens. But I think it’s getting too warm for shenanigans. Or at least too many of them. There’s some growling, and I’ll open the front door for them. Coffee for everyone!

And I’m a-waiting on the twelve-oh-five hoping it’ll take me just a little farther down the line

Well, those two days off just flew by. And the crash and subsequent rolling sounds I heard last night, I can’t find what was making them. Maybe, my mind just made it up as I was falling asleep? I mean I see know damage or really anything out of place. Who knows, maybe Podrick put everything away.

Yesterday, was a nice day. We didn’t do too much, but we did go to SlightlyBiggerTown for a bit of fun. We went to the second hand store, as we haven’t been there in months. We were itching to see what they had to offer. Nothing really. I did find two Twilight novels – but they were missing the exclusive poster. Both of them. we did find a pair of sparkly shoes, and a bag of small toys for the orange menace.

Podrick can get on the top of the refrigerator now. There’s no place to put Pippin’s food. She has one place that he can’t get to and that’s the top of the bathroom organizer. She’s been run out of every other place.

I’m just a little frustrated. Pippin really needs to put him in his place, because whatever we do, doesn’t work. She has way too much patience with him. Although, I think they were playing the chasey chasey game last night when I got back into bed after using the bathroom.

It’s too early for all this activity. I need more coffee.

We’re awake. The orange menace was up to his usual this morning, and instead of being a good boy and snuggling into Crystal’s side, he was all over the place, and trying to climb the tapestry, in order to rain down terror on the unsuspecting town of For the love of god, just let us sleep, population: 2.

We didn’t do shit yesterday. I went up to the post office, and delivered the mail to my parents, and came back to the Flat. We played video games, and watched wrestling in the evening. It was a nice relaxing day. As I was coming back from my parent’s place, the clouds dissipated, and the sun came out for the rest of the day. Today, at least, the sun has been out for a little while.

It looks like it’s gonna be a nice day.

Perhaps a trip to the second hand store this afternoon. The doors are open, and the table and the cat tree are out. Bring on the nice weather!
