It’s a thief in the night to come and grab you

It’s been a day already. I’m 100% sure Podrick is truly testing me on if I need actual sleep headphones to block him out as much as possible. He was going at it last night, and again this morning. I picked up Pippin’s bed twice, the same with the toilet paper.

Other than a cough, Podrick is pretty much back to normal. 7 days of pent up energy is bubbling over the last day or two. And he eats like a wildebeest. I don’t think I’ve ever had a cat so food motivated before. That’s a good and a bad thing. He’s currently locked in the bedroom, because he has a good 7-8 pounds on Pippin, and he loves to tackle her.

It’s chore day here. After brunch I’ll throw some clothes on and deliver some dishes to my parents, along with their mail, and the town newsletter. Mom said she’s doing a lot better, but my dad, s a pretty pretty princess that just sits there sick. I’m sure he’s getting better too

But it’s also chore day here, so in a couple of hours I’ll be starting the laundry. It’ll be a nice relaxing day here. Which is what we both need. Happy Monday!

Get the party goin’ on the dance floor

I’ve been up on and off since around 6. Podrick is being Podrick, and he’s apparently feeling a lot better. I’m gonna have to take everything off the night stand. Because like a honey badger, he doesn’t fucking care about anything or anyone.

He really doesn’t like apple pie.

He’s simply being an asshole this morning.

We’re still sick here. But I hope that we’re getting better. Crystal is in hot mode. I just want the sickness to be over.

Back to work for the all day Sunday shift in a couple of hours. I’m just looking forward to tomorrow. Days off are coming! Chores are coming!

Coffee first.

I’m the question, and you’re of course the answer

Good afternoon, my little bitches. I’ve been up, on and off since probably, around 4, but rolling out of bed at 4:51. I woke up at 4am freaking out that I missed my alarm. I didn’t. I fell back into a light sleep until 4:51, when I said fuck it. Close enough.

Coffee.

Feed the cats.

Stare at the TV until it was time to pre-heat the truck, and 10 minutes later, I stepped out into a windblown wasteland that is TinyTown before the sun comes up. I pull into work and start my day.

Lights on.

Count the cash.

Stand on top of the gas and diesel holding tanks, and scream into the void. After screaming, I head back inside, and kick out two customers, because we haven’t opened yet. Bing Bing forgot to lock the door. S’ok.

Back home now. Oven pre-heating for chunks of pig. Yum. And the bonus? I get to do it all over again tomorrow. But all day. Open to close.

Two trailer-park girls go ’round the outside, ’round the outside, ’round the outside

Good morning. I was rudely awoken, thanks to Podrick. He knocked over our box with all our bathroom stuff in it. What an asshole. It doesn’t matter that it was almost time to get up. The little shit is starting to feel better, so it’s back to his fuckery.

I’m not happy with the fuckery.

I am happy that he’s feeling better.

It’s gray and rainy out there this morning. But there’s not too much to do. We’ll be heading to SlightlyBiggerTown town for some supplies. With it being difficult to taste most things, and not really having a huge appetite, I don’t know if we’ll be having Subway.

We’ll play it by ear.

Coffee, first.

Say his name and he appears

I slept ok last night. I just wish I could breathe through any face hole other than my mouth. It’s starting to get tiring. But I’m slowly getting better. Podrick is slowly getting better as well. He’s pretty much back to normal. While it’s been great having a muted kitten, it’s not Podrick.

He’s almost back.

I had to chase him off the nightstand a couple of times.

We didn’t do really anything yesterday. I played on YouTube for 90% of the afternoon. I’m starting to feel better as well. So that’s really nice. Maybe I won’t be an asshole at work.

By happy Thursday. I hope y’all are safe and warm. Because it’s a little wet and gray outside. Gotta stay dry.

EDIT: happy second birthday, Crystal!
